Yankee Stadium 1969
By Sean O
Thanks to: rolie - grass hardcorelegend - frieze MarlinsMY & DYosua - scoreboard graphics and mechanics bhutsell - collision data paulw & hyman - original classic yankee, which served as inspiration all the beta testers who helped out I cannot stress enough how wonderful it has been to work with these modders through the course of this project. Rolie knocked out a perfect grass model. The frieze that HCL found was loads better than the one I had created. MarlinsMY and his brother Dyosua did the impossible when it came to the scoreboard. And without exaggerating, Brian and I exchanged at least a hundred e-mails when it came to the collision data, which is unlike anything that's ever been seen in a computer baseball game. Park features: - Working post-1959 scoreboard and auxiliary field-level boards - Working clock on the main scoreboard - full collision data. balls don't disappear into the stands, they actually roll off each individual row - scratch-built period ads - completely scratch-built stands - in-play monuments in deep center field 1969-specific features: - White frieze and walls - blue seats - post 1959-scoreboard - speakers in-play in dead center field - no screens above CF wall Installation: Note that I have included two seperate versions, one full and one lite for each day and night. If you have a problem with crashing on the full version, try the lighter one. This is a beast of a park, stretching right up to the limits of what MVP can handle. Rename the day version to the park you wish to overwrite in the ..datastadium folder. For example, to replace Yankee Stadium rename to yankday.big and yanknite.big respectively. There have been issues with the datafile not working correctly for dugouts, and the bullpens simply have not yet been completed. Rename the .txt file to yankday.txt and yanknite.txt, and place in the ..data folder. Hope you enjoy what has been a wonderful project.
