  1. Snash Rosters Version .1

    What is done so far
    --------------------
    All 30 MLB Teams have current rosters and lineups and rotations have been optimized.
    Some prospects have been named.


    *Please note that minor leagues rosters are not set yet, only MLB rosters. I have done very little to the minors as of now*

    ---------------------
    Complete AAA/AA/A Rosters and Lineups and Rotations
    Complete Prospect Names
    Ratings Adjustments


    ETA: Opening Day (Hopefully!)


    How To Install
    --------------

    For XP users:

    Extract the SnashRoster.ROS save file to your /Documents and Settings/2K Sports/MLb 2k9/Saves folder
    and load the roster file in the game.

    For Vista Users:

    Goto My Computer and click the Organize tab at the top left, Click Folder and Search Options and select the
    view tab. Ensure that the button labeled Show Hidden Files and Folders under the folder Hidden Files and Folders
    is selected. If it is not selected then select it.

    Proceed to the Users/YourUsername/AppData/Roaming/2K Sports/MLB 2k9/Saves folder and extract the SnashRoster.ROS save
    file and load it in the game.

  2. SnashRosters Ver 1.0

    ----Snash13's MLB 2k9 Roster Update----

    Version 1



    What is done so far
    --------------------
    Opening Day lineups and rotations for all 30 MLB teams.
    A good amount of minor league prospects have been named (Mostly AAA)

    *Minors are still messy but much better then they were to start with. I will be releasing a Minors update sometime in the next month
    that will include more named prospects and better lineups/rotations*


    What is coming in 1.1
    ---------------------
    Complete Prospect Names (AAA)
    Ratings Adjustments (MLB + AAA)
    Walk Adjustments to help sliders (MLB + AAA)

    ETA: Mid-May (Hopefully!)


    How To Install
    --------------

    25 Man Rosters for opening day (Minus the DL)

    Total 1819 players corrected

    Tony3.ROS -> type "%appdata%" first, and to \2K Sports\MLB 2K9\Saves\

    These are the fake names that have been corrected:

    Version 3.0: DOB, Batting side, Throwing arm, Height, Weight and Pro years corrected

    MVP Mods Community Rosters Ver. 2.3

    MVPmods Community Roster V. 2.3

    PLEASE MOVE ALL OF THE FILES INSIDE OF THE "FACES" FOLDER INTO YOUR ROOT MLB 2K9 FOLDER!

    This roster update includes current rosters as of 08.02.09. It also includes eye color updates, equipment updates, rating updates, lineup updates, and pretty much everything else you can imagine. Many, many hours were put into this project so I hope it is appreciated. Another roster update will be released shortly after the trade deadline.

    All comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Extract MVPmods23.ros to your respective MLB 2K9 saves folder.

    Also a huge thanks to the community members that put together the original update of the roster, however long ago that was. And a big thanks to Tony3 for his corrected player name list -- could not have done this roster without that.

    And last but not last, enjoy!

  7. No FAKES 2k9 roster

    Before I start i wanna thank tywiggins for his roster editor,without that program this roster wouldnt
    have been made.

    I started this project late july and when i had finished the rosters wouldnt work due to some error that
    wasnt recoverable.I decided i didnt wanna give up so i slowly worked at it and in the meantime there have
    been trades free agent signing etc so i decided to make this a pre free agent rosters.
    Every name that was faked and every name of players that was in the free agwnt pool that no longer plays
    has been replaced by current real names.
    I used the free agent list as players who were on the disabled list and that were also late season call ups.

    At the moment all the teams are on a 40 man roster so that means some of the AAA and AA teams are not
    filled so i had to try and do my best and place players on those teams who had been on them before the
    roster expansion.

    Also one note i wanna make clear is since names have been replaced this will mean that (especially minor
    league pitchers) and will have whatever abilities of the person he replaced.So u may find u have a
    starting pitcher in the minors but was in actual life a reliever or u may find they throw a curveball
    when in actual life they dont.With thousands of names replaced i didnt wanna have to search them all
    just to get correct abilities.Of all the names i changed this is what i changed

    birtdates
    Ht and wt
    jersey numbers the best that i could find
    skin colors to the best of my knowledge
    all right handed lefthanded and switchhitting roles should be correct
    and in some cases i changed positions so that i could even out teams


    i made each team have 11 pitchers and the rest fielders, again to even things out

    i didnt change batting orders but what i did do was make sure every player on every team went a season
    to where all will have stats so u shouldnt find any player in the major and minor league systems that
    didnt play.I figure since most pitching staffs have majority of right handers that all(actual) starting lineups
    would face right handed pitchers while backups would face the left handers.Ive ran tests on my rosters
    and the results look pretty much what an actual season stats would look like.
    I know that there may still be some errors in some of the things i changed but at least now all names are real.
    And i know mlb2k10 will be out in a couple months but this roster can be a base for those that wont be getting
    the new game.If anyone wants to use this roster as a base to update go ahead, this is the whole purpose
    i started this project to help keep thinsg up to date




    TO INSTALL:add the ros file to the application data/2ksports/mlb 2k9/saves folder
    then run the game and load the roster

  8. MLB 2K9 Most Recent Update! 3-1-10!

    This is an update I made. I can't STAND to play a game without updated rosters! Whether it means making players that aren't on the game, adding players to their correct team, editing player attributes, or editing their contracts. Now, let me start off by saying I didn't edit ALL contracts or ALL attributes, but I did edit the most important ones. Don't agree with attributes? Edit it yourself to suit what you think it is. I did the best I could and did it for me, but mainly for you guys. Hope you enjoy it!

    ~~~~~~~~~~Instillation Instructions~~~~~~~~~~

    FIRST! Go to Start/My Computer. At the top, choose "Tools", and go to "Folder Options...".
    Then, go to the "View" tab, and check the box named "Show hidden files and folders". This way, you can see the AppData folder.

    1. Extract the .ROS file to your My Computer/Local Disk/Users/NAME/AppData/2Ksports/MLB2K9/Saves folder.
    2. Load it after loading your game up!

    RE-UPDATED 3-3-10! ADDED SOME PLAYERS TO THEIR NEW TEAMS AND EDITED A FEW ATTRIBUTES!

    VERSION 1.1 : bugs with LHP alignement for 5 teams is fixed , aroldis chapman upgrade NOW with the good file : it's BETTER


    NOW THE 1.0 VERSION / ALL MLB TEAMS UP TO DATE

    in these ros file you will find all MLB with exact roster at this time

    no roster with good players for milb ( too much work)

    it s cos no others rosters are right at this time

    enjoy it and if some errors are in it , say to me

    IF SOME ERRORS APPEARS SAY IT TO ME TO CORRECTS ITS FOR AN 1.1 VERSION

    HOPE FOR A VERSION 2 FOR OPENING DAY
