MVP 2021 Same Game, New Names Roster!

Hi everyone, today I'm proud to finally release this major roster update for the MVP Baseball.
Let's begin with three basic things to know:
1. This Rosters contains the up to date depth charts for every organization, from MLB to High A.
2. There are 2 versions:
Version A is an aproximation of the present day roster where the pitchers that are missing this season due to Tommy John Injuries are not available. Version B is the same aproximation, but it contains those pitchers (see the list in the other text file)<<<For future updates, I'll be releasing just the Version A. 3. TO INSTALL: simply go to your MVP Baseball/data/database folder, DELETE ALL THE PREVIOUS DAT FILES in the folder (remember to backup first) and then copy and paste the roster version of your desire.
ROSTERS DESCRIPTION
MLB Level:
Most of the MLB Rosters are primarily based on Gordo's Start of the season Roster, however, note that you will find new things in the mix:
Latest transactions (Including today's Pujols movement). Position players that will miss a lot of time due to injuries suffered in the first month of the season were placed in the AAA level. Accurate Jersey numbers, weights, heights and contracts for all MLB Players. The pitching repertoire for various pitchers has been updated based on this season's data. Updated Batting and running ratings for several players. Lineups and Rotations updated to be more close to the present day. Added new players that already debuted this season and a pitcher version of Shohei Ohtani placed in AAA. Minor tweaks like batting stances, delivery style, generic faces, clothing,... All-Star teams based on the Short Season Awards (MVP and Cy Young awards voting, Relief Pitchers of the year, All-MLB Team and Silver Slugger winners).
MiLB Levels:
Here is where I putted my biggest efforts, take note of the most significant things:
More than 2000 NEW PLAYERS were created, with their accurate basic information. That's right, I saw Harrison Bader's photo that many times. You'll going to find almost every top prospect that was projected to start the season above High-A Level. According to new rating charts that I created, all of the minor league hitters were rated according to their statistical performance in the seasons prior to 2020, this means that most of them went almost two years without real playing, so it is quite certain that these ratings may not reflect their real level of play at this time. Accurate pitches repertoire for the vast majority of the pitchers (but not for those who I could not find their scouting reports, of course). Based on the Fangraphs' Pre-2021 Top 100 Prospects List, 88 players are listed as top prospects (the other 12 players are supposedly starting the season below High-A level, see the full list in the "extra features" folder). Future All-Star teams replacing the Leyends and Heroes teams. Fully compatible with BallFour's MiLB Realignment! And you should go get it, for a better experience.
Carreer Star Potential:
This is a feature that I'm trying to bring back to the game. Based on the Fangraphs' Future Value (FV) system, I have created a chart to give each prospect a Star Potential Level according to the FV that the site has assigned to them. And for established Major Leaguers, I used the Annual WAR production that all the players had in the last seasons and the WAR productions that ZIPS is projecting them to have in this and the in the next seasons.
In the Extra Features folder:
The lists of the Pre-2021 Top 100 Prospects for Fangraphs and Baseball America (and where to find them in the game too!). A new Fangraphs label replacing the default Top Prospects label in the game. The current state of the Minor League teams in the game (Teams' ID slots, new affiliations, etc). Screenshots and more...

As finals thoughts, it was really fun to take to the game players that were like 4 or 5 years old when it came out. My goal while doing it is not to try to get you to play minor league games, but to be able to present a reliable source where current and future roster makers can find some if not all of the names of the next generation of players.
But I'm still learning about this, and searching for better ways to translate the statistical data to players ratings, and I will appreciate your feedback with advices and/or any possible correction.
NOW WHAT'S NEXT: I will be doing the pbp and PA audios for as many players as I can, my hopes are that in case you do want to play a Hillsboro vs Everett game you can hear that Kristian Robinson it's taking a turn against Brandon Williamson, but before of that I need the Omarito's help to translate this roster update to the official ID List, there are a bunch of guys that need the ID Number. (The audio modding is actually what 7 or 8 months ago prompted me to do this roster).

Soy un fanático del juego MVP Baseball que le gusta jugar con los roster lo mas actualizados posibles y con los atributos mas cercanos a la realidad, en cuanto a tipos de picheo, habilidades al bate y demás, no soy editor ni programador pero estoy incursionando en la edición con el MVPEdit.
NOTA: ¡ESTE ES UN DATABASE DEL MVP ROSTER MLB SOLAMENTE!
Aquí les dejo el roster de la pre-temporada de MLB. Solamente tiene actualizado los roster de grandes ligas, conforme al roster de 40 que tiene cada equipo, algunos jugadores están en la misma organización pero en otro nivel debido a la limitación del roster de 25. Evidentemente, si crees que un jugador debería estar en el equipo de la MLB. Simplemente sustitúyalo por alguien que crees que no debería estar allí.
NOTA: LOS PORTRAITS NO ESTÁN ACTUALIZADOS
Espero tener sus Feedback con respecto a esta actualización de roster, recuerden hacer un BACKUP antes de sustituir los archivos de la carpeta database

It only has updated the big league roster, according to the roster of 40 that each team has, some players are in the same organization but in another level due to the limitation of the roster of 25. NOTE: THE PORTRAITS ARE NOT UPDATED
I hope to have your feedback regarding this roster update, remember to do a BACKUP before replacing the files in the database folder

Here's what's new in this version:
Transactions are up-to date as of February 7th 2006. (3 pm ET) Added the Mod Squad and Forum Fanatics teams in the rosters to replace the Heroes and Legends. (thanks to krawhitham) Updated 2006 MLB and in some cases MiLB player stats (thanks to Tony3). Edited tons of stuff you guys have been sending me and posting in the forums. Plus the usual minor tweaks here and there to improve your gameplay even further (ratings, appearances etc.)

2020 PC vs PC Delay of Season Rosters (Ver 3)

In light of the delay of the season and suspension of games, you can use these rosters to set up PC vs. PC games to watch in an exhibition mode. The set up for this is here:
One recent change was made to pitcher stamina, since pitch count is difficult/impossible to make realistic without a realistic number of walks.
**THIS IS NOT FOR HUMAN VS. PC PLAY. BATTER RATINGS ARE PURPOSELY DUMBED DOWN. SO PLEASE DON'T SUBMIT FEEDBACK SAYING THE RATINGS ARE NOT RIGHT. IT'S DONE THIS WAY ON PURPOSE TO MAKE PC VS. PC PLAY MORE REALISTICALLY.

2020 Start of Season Rosters

In light of the delay of the season and suspension of games, I decided to release a relatively up to date roster that I've been keeping up with for my own purposes. This is not up to the caliber of the BaseUp! rosters I've done before, and I have created some players, though I have not updated any ID numbers and birth dates on new players might not all be correct.
This is put together simply to hold over until other roster makers do what they are going to do for this season. This is not something I plan on continuing at all. In fact, any roster makers who want to use whatever they want from this are welcome to do it (e.g., a created player to import to another roster, etc.).
These were tested and play on field without crashing as well as when simming an entire season with injuries and suspensions set to OFF.

Después de unos tutoriales y tiempo libre logre editar y actualizar los rosters de los equipos por completo, específicamente los archivos database, los portraits no están actualizados. Soy un fanático del juego MVP Baseball que le gusta jugar con los rosters lo más actualizados posibles, no soy editor ni programador, pero estoy incursionando en la edición con el MVPEdit.
¡ESTE ES SOLAMENTE UN DATABASE DEL MVP ROSTER MLB!
LOS PORTRAITS NO ESTÁN ACTUALIZADOS
Les dejo el roster de la pre-temporada de MLB. Tiene actualizado los rosters de grandes ligas, conforme al roster de 40 que tiene cada equipo, algunos jugadores están en la misma organización, pero en otra categoría debido a la limitación del roster de 25. Si consideras que un jugador debería estar en el equipo de la MLB, solo sustitúyalo por el jugador que crees que no debería estar allí. Los line-up se hicieron según los depth chart de cada equipo.
NO ESTÁN INCLUIDOS TODOS LOS JUGADORES DE LA LISTA NON-ROSTER INVITEE
Recordar hacer un BACKUP de la carpeta database del juego antes de sustituir los archivos de la carpeta database que les dejo.
COMO INSTALAR: Dirigirse a la carpeta C:\Archivos de programa(x86) o (x64)\EASPORTS\MVP2005\data\database. Al entrar ELIMINAR los 19 archivos existentes .dat; Descomprir el archivo que les deje y copiarlo en esa ubicación.

THE PORTRAITS ARE NOT UPDATED
I leave the roster of the MLB pre-season. It has updated the major league rosters, according to the roster of 40 that each team has, some players are in the same organization, but in another category due to the limitation of the roster of 25. If you consider that a player should be in the team of MLB, just replace it with the player you think shouldn't be there. The line-ups were made according to the depth chart of each team.
ALL NON-ROSTER INVITEE PLAYERS ARE NOT INCLUDED
Remember to make a BACKUP of the game database folder before replacing the files in the database folder that I leave.
HOW TO INSTALL: Go to the 😄 \ Program Files (x86) or (x64) \ EASPORTS \ MVP2005 \ data \ database folder. Upon entering DELETE the 19 existing files .dat; Unzip the file you leave and copy it to that location.

2019 BaseUp! End of Season Rosters ~ PC vs PC!

NOTE: THIS IS AN MLB ONLY ROSTER FOR PC VS PC PLAY ONLY!
Rosters are adjusted for PC vs PC play only. If you attempt to play vs. the PC you may not get the same results.
NOTE: The ratings for the main batting attributes (contact & power) are purposely lowered to play effectively like this. Do not contact me about this.
NOTE 2: You can load these rosters, then save in game, then re-install other preferred rosters. If you do this, you'll have to then load your save to play PC vs. PC.
INSTALLATION: place this rar file into the database subfolder (where your 19 .dat files are). DELETE the existing 19 .dat files first. Then, unzip/rar this file to this location. DO NOT SIMPLY DO AN OVERWRITE!!

2019 World Series Finals SAV Files

These are SAV files only, meaning you need to place this in your MVP/documents folder in order to see it in game. These are the announced line-ups for each team. These are using the latest BaseUp! EOS rosters Version 5. Pitchers brought up had adjustments made accordingly.
There is a SAV file for each team, depending on who you want to control, Washington or Houston. The game has set the next starter and I have no control over that, so make sure you pick the matchups you want.

2019 MLB BaseUp! End of Season Rosters

THIS WILL BE MY LAST ROSTER SET -- THERE STILL MIGHT BE ADDITIONAL TWEAKS TO FIX THINGS IF NEEDED
* Top of each league's position players contact/power updated
* Several more players created
* Rosters primarily incorporating players giving the most service to their respective organization, or if a prominent player, had the greatest overall service during the year if on multiple teams
* Latest portrait numbers for official faces to show properly
* Contact/Power and Hot/Cold zones updated primarily for younger players
**NOTE: I'll be making a thread in the near future to provide direction to the resources I've used and created to make these rosters over the years.
*NOTE: I cannot guarantee that rosters won't freeze with injuries, suspensions and/or trades on. I have tried everything I know to combat this and the rosters seem no longer able to handle 25 players/team at the MiLB level. I have no idea why.
Tested successfully via simming an entire season with trades, injuries and suspensions off (by the way, the Dodgers won). There are a minimum of 23 players on each minor league team, so playing with trades, injuries and/or suspensions "ON" or for MLB only "ON" might work.
If you find any mistakes (batting stances, pitching styles, jersey numbers, etc.), please PM me and I'll include the fixes, if warranted, in the next update, or if there are enough I'll upload another version. If you think a player should be created and placed on the MLB team, PM me and I'll consider it.
Since "Placeholder" players (last name) were put in to fill the empty slots, these rosters can be used with injuries and suspensions set to "ON" without crashing. Most every team has 24 players. I don't know why at this point, but filling teams to 25 seems to be causing freezes when simming a season/franchise.
If you want to use these rosters to create another version or a roster incorporating MiLB, just ask (as someone already has in reference to a standard only roster). If you are thinking of making a MiLB roster set, you can alter the existing "Placeholder" players.

2019 Post Season (SAV) File

This is a .sav file only, meaning you need to place this in your MVP/documents folder in order to see it in game. These are the current matchups using the BaseUp! end of season rosters with one major change......
Teams pitchers reflect more accurately the pitch types, speeds and trajectories used during the 2019 season (pitch control was done previously). Of course, playoff rosters are not set as of the release of this, therefore you are playing with rosters that will not reflect those rosters.
Initial team controlled is Houston. You will need to use the Team Changer mod to control another team. Please don't PM me for support on that. Go to the forums or check in the downloads if you need that mod.
**Note: Anderson replaces Kittredge for Tampa Bay
**Note 2: Before starting your series, check that DH rule and Energy level options are set the way you want.

Many more players created. Younger pitchers' and starters' control attributes updated in accordance with WHIP numbers (for tenured starters, the last 3 years were used).

As promised, dozens of younger tenured pitchers' (control) and position players' (contact/power) attributes changed. A good number of significant debuting players created as well. Affected some team rankings significantly.

I've replaced the player IDs for those who don't have any kind of an accurate portrait with the default team portraits I had made previously. I took those down but reposted them (portraits downloads section). You may want to install them. If portraits are made for any of these players, ID nos. can always be easily changed back.

Great thanks to Laroquece for keeping up with roster moves throughout the year (you have no idea how much time that saved me as the roster moves and changes were especially tedious this year)!
Also, thanks to Ballfour who made some great generic upgrades for us in the facial hair department. A great little touch that brings a little more realism to the game!

Start of season will include players who were expected to be on the Opening Day roster had they not been placed on a short injured reserved list. Players on longer IRLs should still be in the organization (e.g., Scooter Gennett, etc.). Rosters have been tested and sim the season successfully as well as in-game play.
