Due to popular request, an early release of the Ultimate Roster. Many, many hours have been spent on this (just take a look at the readme), so I hope you all enjoy. Please post any suggestions and/or corrections on our thread--this is why I'm releasing it early, to have a few more eyes looking for mistakes.

This is the version that uses terminator koreas Bonds and Millar faces. If you haven't downloaded both of them, you'll need to do so or download the "console friendly" version instead.

Norwich Navigators - AA Eastern Roster

Norwich Navigators 25 man roster. 2nd installation of my AA Eastern League roster and portrait set. (Gators Portraits are uploaded as well under "portraits") Roster is based on the Navigators website. I made an attempt to get players skin color/height/weight/L or R batting/pitching/position correct, and got rid of all Crouched stances. Player attributes are guesses for the most part and could and should be adjusted by someone who knows the team better.

Portaits are available for download and all numbers based on Horys ID #s.

Since I will be focusing on the AA Eastern League, anyone who wants to colaborate or who is already working on one of those teams, let me know (besides the good RockCats and Thunder rosters that are already up) Please back up!

Here is version 0.2 of Homegrown Rosters.

a) All the "null" errors have been fixed
All lineups and rotations are full and error-free
c) Major League lineups are better!

Please view/post on the thread for corrections and suggestions...
(PLEASE backup your original DAT files as I'm sure you won't want to always use this "fantasy set" all the time...I suggest exporting it into the game, start the game, save the rosters {as a SAV file} and then reimport your "real" roster set you usually use)

This is the current active roster, and is based on recent games I went to see...so players stances/unis/accessories/etc. are as close as possible. Attributes are based on Baseball America for the prospects, but other could probably be adjusted if you know more about them.

Homegrown Rosters 1.0 (Fixed!)

Here is version 1.0 of Homegrown Rosters. The cause of the crash is fixed and the rosters now work! Rejoice! Also... a) No "null" errors All lineups and rotations are full and error-free Please view/post on the thread for corrections and suggestions... (PLEASE backup your original DAT files as I'm sure you won't want to always use this "fantasy set" all the time...I suggest exporting it into the game, start the game, save the rosters {as a SAV file} and then reimport your "real" roster set you usually use) If anyone notices a player is NOT with the team who drafted him (very possible for players in the minors, all major leaguers are on their original teams...) PLEASE post corrections on the thread.

MVPdtcmDudes World Baseball Classic Style Dream Team Rosters

Thanks for taking interest in my roster download, fans. Have fun with this. Since the MLB city venue tradition is old hat and matters less due to a lack of home club loyalty and bias towards free agency, I've had a peculiar penchant for assembling baseball video game dream teams from the old 2D dinosaur Tony La Russa series to text based games and the 3D revolution and beyond. This early release of my MVP Baseball 2005 version happens to coincide with the upcoming World Baseball Classic in 2006. But the fact is that I've been creating Olympic World Cup style dream teams for years. If these 6 rosters don't serve as a makeshift prelude to whats in store in 2006 they at least create MLB parity. Without further adieu, I'll let the contents speak for itself.

Brooklyns Rosters v1.0

Just a rough draft here. Tweaked some players on all 30 MLB teams; Derek Lee better all around, Brian Roberts better all around, Joe Nathan more effective consistently. Couldn't do much without MVPEdit but its lookin' pretty good.

Future: Fix up Minor Leagues, go further into Rosters and tweak some more. Only ratings so far, no batting styles or pitching styles.

Just take the file from the .rar and put it in your My Documents/MVP Baseball 2005 folder.

-Changed some player ratings based on this years performance so far, but not too much
-Added a few more CAPs that have made the majors
*-Players on the 15 day DL are on the MLB level but on the bench (Ex. Kerry Wood, Scott Rolen)
*-Players on the 60 day DL are found in single A on the bench (Ex. Barry Bonds)

This is a .sav file only. I'm having too many problems editing within MVPEdits .mbe

Japans Yomiuri Giants Rosters

This roster is the 25-man roster of the Yomiuri Giants, which you could say they are the New York Yankees of Japan because of the number of championships they have won. This team was Hideki Matsuis former team.

You are probably wondering, why are these Japanese players so good? I thought they were supposed to be at the AAA level? Well, the ratings I have in here, I have increased them a little bit so they will be actually able to compete in the majors.
Some of the players you might notice in this rosters are Dan Miceli (former Astro) and Gabe Kapler (former Red Sox).
Although they have already released Dan Miceli (he gave up ERs in every outing over there) and Gabe Kapler is only hitting about .190, and is not a stater anymore, I have put him in as a starter.
I have also added a pitch to Dan Micelis repitore. (Circle Change)

Some players who might come to the Majors in the future:

1. Koji Uehara- He is a outstanding pitcher who has a high percentage of coming to the MLB. Maybe next year?
3. Toshihisa Nishi- He tried to go this off-season but didn't work out.
2. Yoshinobu Takahashi- He hasn't said anything about it, but he might!

I am still working on changing some players stances, birthdays, and so on. In the next version I release I will probably have accurate birthdays and turn them all into Asian faces.
