NOTE:  THIS IS AN MLB ONLY ROSTER!

 

  • Incorporates moves to beginning of June
  • Call up players who had major injuries
  • Send down players with major injuries
  • Create new players who have debuted
  • New speed attributes established for all 30 MLB teams; some pitchers speed attributes increased

 

Since "Placeholder" players (last name) were put in to fill the empty slots, these rosters can be used with injuries and suspensions set to "ON" without crashing.  Most every team has 24-25 players. 

 

If you want to use these rosters to create another version or a roster incorporating MiLB, just ask (as someone already has in reference to a standard only roster).  If you are thinking of making a MiLB roster set, you can alter the existing "Placeholder" players.

 

INSTALLATION:  Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\MVP 2005 (or whatever you named it)\data\database subfolder.  DELETE the existing 19 .dat files.  Unzip this roster file to that location.  DO NOT SIMPLY OVERWRITE!

 

**If you're going to give feedback, please make it intelligent.  If the rosters are not working for you, then don't leave feedback and rate the rosters down simply because you don't know what you're doing.  Ask for help!

 

**Also, don't just be a leech around here! .... give feedback to ALL modders from whom you download files.  Make comments.  Give suggestions.

Fixed an LRP whose pitching attributes didn't stick.

 

Fixed all teams showing 2 LRPs to having 1.

I'll be updating this further in a short while.  I missed a few moves and a couple of creations (Andujar on the NYY for example).  Of course, getting little to no feedback/comments on what's needed so you're at my time table to check this.

Yankees' changes:
Torres needs to be made (and Andujar)

Send Wade and Torreyes to AAA to make space
Also Montgomery is injured so German has to be made for him.

Clint Frazier made a few appearances. Not sure if he has enough yet. He's the 26-man for the double-header today

A.J. Cole on Yankees over Tommy Kahnle (AAA)

Brandon Drury in AAA for Tyler Austin

Andujar already made; Torres will be made (with new face assignments)

 

Montgomery is not a major injury (as of yet), although German now has a significant no. of inns. pitcher;  I'll create him.

 

Frazier can be inserted , but you can't have 26 man rosters.  Something has to give somewhere.

 

Cole for Kahnle would be easy.

 

Drury already moved.  I'll have to see if Austin can fit.  All of the above will come down to amount of service to date.

Keep updating the most recent version.  I'm actually updating more than I said I would, but they are in the most recent update.

Any reason why Aaron Judge isn't wearing batting gloves?

Tyler Austin could use Manny Ramirez's batting stance. 

Greg Bird could use Bagwell's. His current (Griffey) doesn't have him bending down.

Freshly installed on MVP 2005 with patch #5 installed, but whenever I go to edit some players (ex: Kyle Seager), my game just crashes. This doesnt happen for all players. Any reason why this might happen or if theres anything extra I have to install with this to get it to work?

I have a proposal on batting form.
I thought that it would be better to change the form with each image so far

Is Stanton (NYY) 's form a closed stance?
In addition, there are some players who sometimes wear wristbands with pitchers.
This is a violation of the rules so we are removing it.

JordanHicks (STL) has passed over 100 miles with a sinker, is not it? You can check this on You Tube too.

It is regrettable that translation that is contrary to intention is done because you are using the translation site.
