NOTE:  THIS IS AN MLB ONLY ROSTER!

 

As promised, dozens of younger tenured pitchers' (control) and position players' (contact/power) attributes changed.  A good number of significant debuting players created as well.  Affected some team rankings significantly.

 

If you find any mistakes (batting stances, pitching styles, jersey numbers, etc.), please PM me and I'll include the fixes, if warranted, in the next update, or if there are enough I'll upload another version.  

 

Since "Placeholder" players (last name) were put in to fill the empty slots, these rosters can be used with injuries and suspensions set to "ON" without crashing.  Most every team has 24 players.  I don't know why at this point, but filling teams to 25 seems to be causing freezes when simming a season/franchise.

 

If you want to use these rosters to create another version or a roster incorporating MiLB, just ask (as someone already has in reference to a standard only roster).  If you are thinking of making a MiLB roster set, you can alter the existing "Placeholder" players.

 

INSTALLATION:  Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\MVP 2005 (or whatever you named it)\data\database subfolder.  DELETE the existing 19 .dat files.  Unzip this roster file to that location.  DO NOT SIMPLY OVERWRITE!

Cyberface and portrait nos. updated to reflect the latest mods put out.  Latest moves completed.

 

Tested and does not crash in gameplay or during a full season sim (not tested with injuries, suspensions or trades turned on).

Ojalá para la próxima actualización se incluyan los rostros personalizados de Ben Gamel, Pete Alonso, Jeff McNeil, Matt Olson, Matt Chapman, Fernando Tatis, Miles Mikolas, Eloy Jiménez, Tommy Pham, Blake Snell, Juan Soto, Lucas Giolito, Yandy Díaz y Yordan Álvarez, por mencionar algunas figuras jóvenes de impacto en el juego.

Please get assistance in translating.  This is an English speaking site.  From what I can tell from Google translate is that you are talking about custom faces.  This a roster file .... this has nothing to do with custom faces.  Make a thread or use the existing requesting custom faces thread in the forums.

You don't use official ID's for this site.  It doesn't matter what you do for MVP Caribe.  THIS site has a system and some of you modders are not following the proper flow which is going to give users/players problems and mismatched faces.

 

1.  Request an official ID from the proper thread.

2.  Official ID is assigned.

3.  Once the face is uploaded, the rosters can be updated to reflect those changes so that that show properly in the game, OR

4.  Users can update their own rosters properly if they don't want to wait for a roster update.

Didn't he just say that he does not do custom faces? This is a roster file that has the current major league roster up to this year's All-Star break. It has nothing to do and will have never anything to do with custom faces.

Like I've said in the past, you don't need to fight my battles or defend me.  I'm a big boy.  Plus, I'm sure there's a language barrier here.

 

2LSA:  rosters only put numbers in so that the file created match to that certain players portrait, audio or cyberface (if they have one); the rosters don't create the faces or other things; they simply assign attributes and general characteristics for the players.  The portraits, audio, and faces as well as other custom things have to be created separately.  That's why there are those different sections in the downloads area.

2LSA: las listas solo colocan números para que el archivo creado coincida con el de ciertos reproductores, audio o cyberface (si lo tienen); las listas no crean las caras u otras cosas; simplemente asignan atributos y características generales a los jugadores. Los retratos, el audio y las caras, así como otras cosas personalizadas, deben crearse por separado. Es por eso que hay esas diferentes secciones en el área de descargas.

The instructions are at the top of page.  They are right there in blue writing and it literally says "INSTALLATION".

Do I need a special MVP Mod for this? I am doing all your instructions, with a MVP CLEAN Version and it crashes before start the game

Technically you can use these with an Xbox if you know how to install them to a modded console.  If you need support, look in the threads or create one.
