nice job but faces, players (names) do not match for the Yankees.  have players no longer on this team.

Faces do not match the players right? 

That is a problem that will be fixed in later version

So apart from the Ohtani thing, playing through Franchise mode works fine all the way through a season? No crashing or problems? You'd be the first roster update in ages that works correctly if that was the case.

How do I test this? Just sim the entire season?

I simulated the season all the way and simulated some of the next season in franchise and no crashes.

nice job but a lot of work to do a lot of missing  players and triple a is a dissaster

Thankyou. I understand that, but I am burned out. 

I want to continue to update and I will, but it is disappointing that nobody can do small help along the way.

Im imagining a person here and there making a list of missing players, wrong details, etc.

But nobody does, so it is what it is. 

Its almost like me just telling everybody I updated the roster but me never uploading it.

If the community helped, we would have a perfect roster every year, but it just never seems to happen.

We have lone people who spend hours doing exhausting work, only to come to someone saying that the birth players location is wrong.

I'm having trouble matching the latest portraits with roster 1.8 you just released.  For exmaple, Jarred Walsh on Angels has Albert Pujols portrait.  

I used MLB 2k12 Portrait installer and am using the roster you just released this morning.  I assume this is user error on my behalf, do you have any suggestions?  I haven't played in about 5 years so may have forgetten a step to get portraits to match propertly.

Checking now, im going to release another version that fixes a few errors.

Portraits look good! Going to release another version where you can also replace the CDF files if that makes it easier. 

Maybe you need to load the roster? Sometimes when you open the game it loads the default roster and not mine.

It was my fault:  I used MLB Portrait Installer 1.2 instead of what you stated, Total Installer Thingy.  

I just installed that, ran the update, and the portraits match.  As expected, user error on me .

Why do you have 5 different roster files?  Which one is the latest to use?

You mean when you click on download you see different versions? every new version updates and fixes some problems, adds players and fixes some ratings

As for my other roster updates from before, they were experimental

Ok, so do I need to d/l all of them?  I don't follow you. It's confusing and I still can't get portraits.iff to work.

You can't seem to get anything to work. Its like your being a nuisance on purpose.

That's uncalled for...it was confusing because you labeled the last 3 files "2022a"...that confused me too until I realized the last one must be the first.  In your changelogs 1.8.2 was the latest one but how is one to know which of the 2022a's is the latest 1.8.2. 

The poster merely asked which file to download or did he have to download ALL of them. Simple question. 

By the way...@LouisvilleLipp...the last one in the list that says 2022a instead of 1.8.2 is the one you download...the others are simply his previous works while he was finalizing his roster as stated in his Readme file.

Yeah I know...alot to write instead of just saying "just download the last file" instead of accusing be of being a nuisance on purpose.

By the way...thanks for the cdf and iff files...I didn't feel like using the Total Installer Thing download considering Chrome is making it harder  to download "questionable" files when most aren't. Too much of a headache to have to disable Windows Defender to download a stupid file where what you did by giving us the CDF and IFF files was SO much easier. 

What we ALL need to realize that even when this game came out originally the rosters weren't accurate even a month later, right? WAY too much movement to keep up on all this stuff. So ANYONE that is crazy enough to undertake something like this should be appreciated and not pettily criticized. Sure his early efforts were very basic (which he admitted to as being a work in progress) but I have to say the last version even on rookie settings made the game very interesting and not as easy as it was before. 

To start from scratch and do this huge undertaking is HIGHLY appreciated so don't let it get you down when you get criticism...the positive reviews aren't always there because those are the people actually enjoying your roster and playing it so they'll be coming soon. The game is what...10 years old now? It is a TON of work, ESPECIALLY if youre starting from absolute scratch instead of editing things as most people do. I reserved judgement until you said "FINAL" and I have to truly say OUTSTANDING job and thank you VERY much for this undertaking.

Dude, don't get snarky with me because you didn't fully explain what roster file is the latest. I just asked a simple question, and you had to take it to another level. The 1st thing you should have done was to delete the older rosters, then there wouldn't be confusion.   This ain't a 10 year old you're talking to. 

The more I use these rosters the more Im enjoying them...Lineups are a little screwy on some teams like Lindor hitting eighth on the Mets but the ratings are pretty spot on...really enjoying these. 

Simply used roster editor to correct the lineups. 

Pete Alonzo should be AlonSo though...not a Z as is usually the case.

A lot of incorrect photos and it says the wrong names during gameplay, not sure if you have a way to fix that...other than that.
