The Captain of the great late 1970s Yankees World Championship teams, Thurman Munson batted .529 in the 1976 World Series and never batted under .320 in any World Series. People who don't believe in "clutch hitting" just never got to watch Munson play. Phil Rizzuto used to call his bat a "magic wand." This is intended as a respectful tribute to the Greatest Yankee of the 1970s.
