2011 Rosters Version 2.0

Hi grmrpr1313,

I think you forgot to players' career potential,

Most of players were assigned with one *,

and so did the previous version,

am I remiss something or you forgot to set them,

Great rosters. Don't know if you know this or not but you have two Brad Hawpe's. One on the padres and one in the FA's. One question, how do I edit the rosters using MVP edit and save it as a .sav file? I'm not going to republish your rosters.

I am excited to check out these rosters. I just had a quick question. For player ratings, did you use 2010 ratings or a form of 2011 projected numbers? If 2011 projected, which source did you use. Just curious, thanks.

Great job on the rosters! One small issue--the game is now freezing partway through a dynasty season, which in the past has been attributable to roster issues. Have you experienced this?

It makes the game freeze during the loading of the stadium going into the game. Doesn't do that for the originals or the saves i have done myself... I haven't used any patches or mods to the game.

Thanks for the rosters, I was wondering how to change the rankings to reflect the modern teams. For instance cards are ranked #1 and reds are 21

that seems like 05 rankings.

With all due respect: I downloaded your version 2 (I used your 2010 Rosters and they were great). I was disturbed to see that the Modified date on these was

Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005. Fearfully, I installed and these rosters are from 2005! What gives? What did I do wrong?

Another instance of making dynasties crash. Does anyone have any insight as to why this happens? I unfortunately know very little about how these things like rosters are done, but I do believe it has something to do with lineups and/or pitchers. I hit the CPU optimize rosters option in the game and it scrambled my rosters and stuff all up, BUT I was able to temporarily play games again after that without it crashing (it started happening again a few more games down the line).

Download MVPEdit, open MBE file included in the rosters, and export DAT files to the "database" folder in your install directory. That won't fix the crashing issues, but it will update the default rosters to 2011. The files included in the download are the originals from 2005, not the new ones. That's why it doesn't change when following the directions in the original download.

In MVPEdit, I ran a "Check for Errors" on the MBE file included with the roster. It returns 142 errors. It is actually 71 team errors, but it returns duplicate errors for all teams. I don't know what the errors are, but I assume that is the cause of everyone's headaches. Hopefully a fix or further instruction comes soon.

I can't get either of this years roster to function properly. That said, I'm not complaining! I just appreciate those that are providing the updates.

I do not believe that hiheats rosters were used as a template, if that is true, then it will not be compatable with homers faces either. So, if you have homers faces then you will have issues. Not 100% sure on this but thats my feeling, you would need grmrpr1313 to verify.

these rosters show some players like Ike Davis, with less updated ratings than last year's rosters.

Awesome roster, Thank you for ya hard work. But it seems i'm getting certain players with problems. Certain players have african american heads and white arms, or latin arms with white heads. It happens Big time with the yankee's Chamberlain. Is there a fix for this?

As a follow up, just put the SAV file in your save folder and then install Homer's facepack. With that, the rosters work. I wasn't able to export with MVPEdit to make them the default rosters, however.

Hey great roster! Thanks for putting it together. I did notice that CJ Wilson on had a 32 for stamina. Can anyone explain to me how I can correct it? Thanks!

For some reason when i downloaded this and used it in a dynasty mode it crashes whenever i started a game. I fixed the null problems in the rosters but still crashes. The game works fine when I use the default rosters.
