Thank you for checking out my 1962-1973 New York Mets uniforms for MVP Baseball 2005. Included are three uniform sets, numbers and uniform select screens.
There are two versions of this uniform. The TC10 version is specific to the Total Classics Phase 10 mod, while the MVP 05 version is specific to any standard MVP 05 install.
The TC 10 version updates the uniforms for the 1962, 1969, and 1973 Mets. The slightly different 1969 version includes the "100th Anniversary" patch worn by all teams.
The TC10 version will be available under the three New York Mets slots and the MVP 05 version will be available under New York Mets alternate slots (28l-m).
If you want the uniforms in another slot instead, just unzip the files and rename the .fsh images to whatever slot you like.
ABOUT THE UNIFORMS
1962
The 1962 expansion Mets have the dubious distinction of having the most losses of any team in the "modern" era. They finished 40-120, and no pitcher on their team had a winning record. Richie Ashburn was the team's lone all-star, hitting .306 in his final season.
1969
The "Miracle Mets" relied on young talent to reverse their fortunes of a previous decade of futility. Led by Tom Seaver, Jerry Koosman and a young fireballer named Nolan Ryan, the Mets shocked the baseball world by winning the pennant with a record of 100-62 and the world series over the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles.
1973
The Mets rallied from last place at the end of August to capture the NL East title and defeat the Cincinnati Reds to reach the World Series. In the fall classic, they lost to the Oakland Athletics in 7 games. Willie Mays played the final games of his career on this Mets team.
INSTALLATION
-You will need kraw's Total Installer Thingy (TiT), which you can get here (you may have to register first):

-The rest is self explanatory, just install the .RAR file named "TC10 Version" or "MVP 05 Version" to their respective locations using TiT, and you are done!
-As usual, remember to back up your files before installing!
