Thanks to all who assisted along the way again!!

In this version, updates include:

• Corrected Francisco Rodriguez (K-Rod), RP/NYM, data & attributes

• Corrected pitch types and speeds and assigned Francisco Rodriquez, RP/LAA, to MLB squad, demoted RP Downs

• David Eckstein moved to FA pool

• Pertinent transaction moves made to date:



  • The Seattle Mariners release P Justin Miller
  • The Houston Astros release P Fernando Nieve
  • The Pittsburgh Pirates return IF Josh Rodriguez to the Cleveland Indians
  • The Orioles acquire C John Hester from Arizona to complete the trade for Mark Reynolds
  • The Texas Rangers sign P Justin Miller to a minor league contract
  • The New York Yankees release P Kevin Millwood
  • The Milwaukee Brewers acquire OF Jordan Brown from the Indians
  • The Atlanta Braves acquire OF Jeff Fiorentino from the Baltimore Orioles
  • The New York Mets sign P Brian Sweeney to a minor league contract and announce the retirement of IF Russ Adams

• Key Free Agents not playing since 2009 eliminated (Clark, Baek, etc.)

• Default player error in Nashville Sounds corrected (previously caused crash)

• Chris Young, CF/ARI, contact vs. lefties improved

• Andres Torres, CF/SFG, speed increased

• Drew Stubbs, CF/CIN, speed increased

• Juan Pierre, LF/CWS, speed increased

• Nyjer Morgan, CF/MIL, speed slightly decreased

• Cesar Izturis, SS/BAL, speed decreased

• Felix Pie, LF/BAL, speed increased

• Tsuyoshi Nishioka, 2B/MIN created and placed in AAA

• All cyberfaces/photo-audio numbers matched (HUGE thanks to DylanB!!! Also, thanks to Homer for publishing list for DL)

• Facial hair for generics matched to portrait

• Starting rotations changed in accordance with mlbdepthcharts.com (projected without actual DL pitchers)

• Global improvement for catcher’s throwing accuracy

• Bonus file: corrected portraits for K. Jepsen (LAA) D. Purcey (OAK) & T. Pena (CWS) --- install with TiT

(this file shows no errors for the .mbe in MVPedit and an entire season was simmed successfully)

when i replace all 19 dat into the database and run the game.. it get crashed after gameplay start...

Install the 08 mod and the latest cyberface packs available at mlbmods.com. Can't vouch for the 07 mod.

is there a step i'm missing? I'm following your intallation directions. Is there a roster sav file i should be installing also?

i got the mvpmod 08 but when im intalizing it, say : insert disc 1.. i mount the image but cant found it..

I have official patch #5 and this roster update. The game works perfectly in menus, etc. but crashes when loading for game play. 2008 mod required?

Hey, I did everything I was supposed to, but when I hit the gameplay button, it loads till half and then it crushes. What shall I do?

I was having the same issue. Try installing the mvp 08 total conversion mod if you haven't already. It worked for me.

Maybe since a few guys commented since you did, you figured out you should have the 08 mod installed. I would also install the latest cyber face packs from mlbmods and here.

roster.sav files get generated once you go into the game and created saves from within the roster management section.

Also.... I anticipate a roster update this week after Toleton gives me a quality check !! Yes, Bautista is being given a batting increase all the way around.

Well, I won't be looking for a fix.... I'm spending all my time developing this roster. If only a few guys have issues running the game, then it is up to you to post something in the support section. Any problems I've had with getting and keeping my game running have been up to me to figure out, not the other person. Good luck.

Addendum: I would say that if you are installing the 08 total mod, you do not need to (and should not) install any patches.

I was having the same issue. Try installing the mvp 08 total conversion mod if you haven't already. It worked for me.

I tried to download it, but I can´t find it anywhere. When I go to EAmod.com, it says, that I can´t register now, so I don´t know, where to get it. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi so I've had this game lying around for a long time and just dug it out to play. I've never installed any new roster updates before, and I'm looking to add this one. Can someone please give me directions on all the steps to successfully installing this roster update? Thanks! It'd be much appreciated.
