About This File

*** SEE THE SUPPORT TOPIC FOR A "PATCH" THAT WILL KEEP THE BALTIMORE ORIOLES FROM CRASHING THE GAME ***

First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to Toleton who gave me some great guidance and assistance on this version and who will collaborate with me on future versions to make improvements!!

This version includes a special bonus of an alternate roster featuring increased stamina for ALL relievers, potentially giving them an opportunity to be a starter if needed.

Another great inclusion on this are the "absent" players whom you can easily re-insert back into the roster in any way that you choose via MVPedit.

There are way too many enhancements, changes and moves to list here. So download the file and check out the description document, but here are just a few not already mentioned:

• Full attempt to match present 40-man rosters (though some nominal or still fully minor league players not considered).

• All listed pitchers making an MLB start to date received a stamina adjustment via Dylan’s calculator (with 80-89 receiving a +1 and 90-97 receiving a +2) based on up to 5 year performance, if possible.

• Fielders speeds more in line with 2K’s MLB 10 rosters

• Cyberfaces changed from correct feedback received

• Top 50 Prospects label added for players presently in roster

• More existing minor leaguers moved to correct teams

• 50+ pertinent transactions made since last roster update

You're better off posting in the support topic where people will see your question as this is just a comments section that not everyone might see: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=52206 . You should mention more about what you have installed already and if you encountered this before. Also, does this happen with another roster set? See you in the forums.

hi awesome work but i got a few corrections firs you got jhon van benschoten twice on the scranton the AAA of the yanks and he is not even a yankees player, also in the scranton you got jhon weber that he is also not a yankees player, Joba Chamberline of the new york yankees is out for the season, you got jose lopez in FA but hi is now playing iwith the Marlins in the major's team, you dont create Luis Jimenez 1B/DH and he is one of the best hitters in the AAA of the Seattle Mariners, and also you miss charlie Blackmon on the Colorado Rockies.

just a few corrections, forgive mi english if i write something wrong but im from Venezuela

Thanks Great Work!

I see what you mean about Van Benschoten. I didn't catch it because he has had no MLB appearance since 2008 (one will be eliminated). You are also correct about Jon Weber, but again he has not seen MLB time, though will move him to FA because he is in the IND league (Winnipeg Goldeyes). Regarding Chamberlain, it was not known at the time that he would be out for the season when the rosters were released 3 weeks ago. Jose Lopez was signed on June 9th, but probably wasn't announced until June 10th, right at the time of the roster release. Luis Jimenez I'm sure is good, but has not played for the Mariners this year and is not even on the 40 man rosters for the Mariners. As far as Charlie Blackmon, as you can see he only recently made his MLB debut a few days before the roster came out, so was not significant enough to include at the time and I indicated in the thread (BaseUp! Rosters 1.64 thread) that he would be created and placed in the next release. Thanks for checking behind me and I'm glad you're enjoying the rosters!!

Did you download the file and look inside? There is clearly an easy indication of how to do it in the description file (.rtf). Did you look in the support topic?

Chien-Ming Wang has not pitched in the majors since 2009. He is pitching in Single A ball for the Nationals this year, so if he wasn't on the roster, didn't warrant creating.

I just started diving into this MVP '05 stuff about two days ago because of lack of funds for a PS3 and MLB 12. I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of work that has gone into keeping this game up to date.

I tip my hat to you for doing a very thorough job. I have been able to get some very realistic results with this game after adjusting sliders such as you would on a console. Every step of the process including MVP 08 mod, using Power ISO, TiT thingy has been all very easy when instructions are provided.

Anyway, I saw this mentioned in the thread to your previous update. That being players' actual characters on the field, or their animations not matching up to player images.

Before I loaded up your update; for example in the MVP 08 mod, Gary Sheffield had four eye balls when walking up to bat etc.

In the case of adding this mod, Austin Jackson had black arms, but a white face. Some characters had four eyeballs ... poor guys. Creepy!

I saw you mention that I might not have the correct cyberface file? I am not sure what that is to be honest. I would love to fix that issue (four eyeballs etc) to coincide with your mod.

Is there any specific file I should be looking for that matches up to yours, or one I should replace from further down the line? Any help would be appreciated even if this may be the incorrect thread.

Once again, great work. Very cool!

Pretty sure I may have just installed 08 mod from EA Mods incorrectly with Thingy and this may have contributed to the issue.

Firstly didn't download it to my MVP 05 folder(instead a secondary downloads folder) then I think I closed it out before completing the process at the very end where you direct the mod to a profile(.sav) file in my Documents.

Oops! Like I said, just got into it now 3 days ago ...

I know this is not a good thread for speaking about this, but I have seen others mention it and maybe this will help prevent you from being repeatedly asked this question.

Once again though, thanks for creating this '11 mod and look forward to getting my MVP running correctly and using your mod for a fantasy draft dynasty team.

Thanks

PS-> is there anywhere to get a 2011 accurate (.big) schedule file on this site?

Just ponied up and spent $40 on buying this game via amazon.com.

I don't think any of these mods work effectively if you scoop up the game via torrents and cracks.

I HOPE that was the issue otherwise I just wasted $40. :-)
