I just started playing this game again after a four year hiatus. I used to run it with the mods & extra downloads in place. I seem to have forgotten how to do that because I can't get these rosters to work properly. Every time I try to play a game it stops working during the loading screen. I can't find a version of the 08 conversion tool to use either, so what I've been doing is just downloading the roster & overwriting the existing database files. Any tips here? I'd really appreciate it, I used to love this game & I really want to start playing again with up to date rosters.

If it makes any difference, I'm not interested in adding any more bells & whistles than the up to date rosters & player ratings. Unless the facepacks & stuff are necessary to making the rosters work, I won't be downloading them.

It really doesn't make any difference at all. The one thing you can do is go through the rosters and make sure all the cyberface numbers in the editor are between 901-915 and you probably won't crash. The facepacks & stuff ARE necessary. Updating to the 08 mod couldn't be simpler and more automatic. You just need to follow the instructions and make sure you have the disks.

This seems very good roster, is one of the best I've seen and I congratulate them for their work. I also want to make some suggestions to further improve on its work to the extent they are the best. At the next versions can upgrade equipment roster of American and National League with the players who participated in the All-Star 2011. Can fix the age of the players, to appear in the game's actual age, when opened with MVPedit age is fine, but when you start and open the game, players are 6 years younger. In teams of future stars can be updated with prospects who participated in 2011 in the game of future stars and legendary players can add on those computers. It's something I want to share with you in order to achieve better results in their work and know for sure what the community is much appreciated effort.

Thx for the compliment (and again, it extends to the guys who set this roster base before me). You should put these things in the support topic and the mod suggestion thread. As far as the ages, once you start a game, you can use the MVP schedule updater. I don't play multiple seasons, so it doesn't mean much to me. When I'm in game or online, I'm not really looking a the players' ages.

nevermind...got it to work. i must have done something stupid, but i was having th crash at start up page, so i reinstalled the rosters and all is good

anyone else notice that Daniel Bards face is black??? and the rest of his body is white?? or maybe its just mine
