About This File

**COLOR CORRECTED UNIFORMS**

**UPDATE 5/4**

- Various other fixes and tweaks.

- New color.txt file

- Updated Atlanta Red Alternate

------------

Same as last year, 2K made the colors for these teams too bright or off color. Since the entire uniform can't be changed via my color corrected roster, I'm releasing these fixes. They will change the fielding hat colors as well as more uniform colors and socks. So expect true dark navy and midnight blue for these teams.

Place the .iff files in your MLB 2K12 directory and overwrite the original files. Be sure to backup your originals!

Be sure to check out this thread to suggest any uniform changes that should be made: http://www.mvpmods.c...40

2k had Mets numbers completely off. I had to use Ty' s editor and then restart my spring training.

With the Braves, is there a way you can also get their undershirts changed to the right color? The caps look perfect but the Braves still have the light colored undershirts which does not match up very well.

rick, the undershirts are controlled by the roster file. You need to download my color corrected roster as i mentioned in the description...

Thank you very much by your excellent work. Finally the Yankees sees as really they are. It never played with them because of the suit. Really, thank you very much.

Finally got to updating the Jays. That should do it for all teams now!!

Click on the uniforms tab and then go to import and find the color.txt file and that's it! Save when your done.

Also, I made some more updates including the horrible electric blue for the Rockies, which is now purple!

DetroitStyle, are you saying that I can import the text file even after my franchise is well under way, and it will still take effect the next game I start?

I used Ty's editor to change every MLB team to the official style guide colors, and they look spectacular, but I made an error with Toronto (used dark blue instead of the bright blue for the helmet/numbers/name). Since I couldn't test uniforms using PLAY BALL (it always loads the living roster, not the default one I edited), I fixed my Toronto uniforms in TY's editor, saved them, started an entirely new franchise using "Default" roster, and when I start a game, the uniforms are STILL wrong (dark numbers/name/helmet). I've got to be doing something wrong.

I spent a lot of time updating the colors, so I'd like to keep them...I assume clicking EXPORT will CREATE a file called colors.txt, which I can then edit for Toronto, and re-import?

Thanks for your patience! Once I get it figured out, I will upload mine (probably by division).

Correct. Also, if you're connected to the internet and save your roster as "Roster" the game will overwrite it for the new live roster. Try saving it as a different name. You can for sure check it out in play now, just go to options and load the correct roster.

Thanks...just edited Roster.ros again, saved under a different name, and was able to see correct colors in a PLAY BALL game. I saved my FXG file in franchise mode after updating colors mid-season, I'm hoping this works too!

deafvader: No.

This mod doesn't contain a Home uniform for the Tigers. It only has the Away and Batting Practice (both Home & Away) uniforms.

Just remember that in order to actually enjoy all the modded uniforms DS provides here, you will have to follow the instructions for importing the Color.txt file into your Roster(s).

DS Please have a look at my comments in the "Uniform Correction Thread" in regard to Phillies (and Nationals) socks appearing a little on the 'pink' side.

Can somebody please help me? I'm new to this whole thing and I'm so confused on what I need to download exactly in order to get these roster updates onto my game. Can somebody please tell me all the things that I need to download and then what else I need? It would be much appreciated because the jerseys in this game are god awful. Thanks!

Razbery, that's not accurate. This file includes a Tigers home and away uniform as well as their BPH and BPA. Deafvader, this mod will overwrite any other tiger uniforms you may have downloaded.

Great Work - I have one request

The Minnesota Twins Alternate Home - cap is incorrect

It is currently the "M" and it should be the "TC"

Just a heads up
