Normal Install instructions
WARNING BACK UP ORIGINAL FILES as these will overwrite the originals.Unzip into
the main mlb2k12 folder.Start game these will NOT have the correct color codes because
of the way 2k does their files
Generic Mod Enabler(use the files in the normal install)
This is the best way for those who dont have tys editor and dont want to over write the originals.
Download from http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products-jsgme.html
and follow thier directions.Once installed there should be a folder called *MODS*
Inside this folder u can create another folder. For example if u just want national league
modded unis name a folder NATIONAL LEAGUE and place my unzipped uni files
inside this folder.Start the enabler and choose the folder that has the mods
then start the game and the unis should be available. If u want to revert back to the originals
then just shut down the enabler again these will not have the correct color codes
The Miami Marlins began play in 1993 as the Florida Marlins. They played thier home
games in sunlife stadium in which they shared with the Miami Dolphins from thier
inaugural season until 2011.This year they will start play in Marlins Park which is
built on the site of the former orange bowl. The new parks name is a temporay one
until naming rights are purchased per agreement with the city amd miami dacde county
which owns the park. The Marlins officially changed to the name "Miami Marlins"
on November 11,2011.They also adopted a new color scheme, logo and uniforms.
On March 7 1990 Wayne Huizenga announced he had purchased 15 % of the Miami
Dolphins and the Dolphins home for an estimated $30 million. He stated he was
aggressively prsuing a franchise in MLB as the National league a few months earlier
announced it intended on adding 2 new teams and that one of them would be placed
in Florida. The only question was if Huizenga was capable to beat out Orlando and Tampa.
Orlando feilded a very spirited campaign as a family based tourism city and Tampa allready
had a baseball park in the Florida Suncoast Dome however The NL awarded Miami
the franchise with a $95 million expansion fee.In 1991 Miami made thier first signing ever
by signing 16 yo dominican pitcher Clemente Nunez.
The Miami(Florida) Marlins have not had many uniform changes but the original
color schemes were white, teal and black. The first year of league play they actually
had 5 uniforms. The home was teal striped white jerseys with black numbers and
players names with a thin teal outline. The Marlins name was across the front in teal.
Stocking were all black and 2 styles of cap one was all teal and the alternate was all black.
There were 2 alternate home jerseys. They were the same as the regular home jersey except
the sleeves were all teal. The other alternate was all teal jersey with teal striped pants.
There were 2 road jerseys, the original was grey with a black white and teal stripe
going down the side of the leg.The word Florida ran across the front of the jersey
and the cap was teal with a black bill. The alternate road had the all teal jersey with
the grey pants but the word Marlins was in silver. The numbers were silver with a thin black
outline and another silver outline along the black.
The following files are the home cl1 and cl2.They represent 2 of the 1993 alternates
and the 1996 alternate unis
EXTRA NOTE:For those that use Tys Editor u will find that i had to put these in as the
Tampa Bay Rays because the editor still has Florida Marlins and when u try and save the files it
gives an unhandled error message.I have contacted Ty and see if he can fix this
If he does then ill upload the fixed text file
