About This File

Cyberface for Bryce Harper, OF Nationals. I know Scottibilly has done a nice Bryce Harper already. But since there was a request in my thread I made a quick one. You can decide if you want to use mine or Scotti's.

I gave him a beard and gave him some hair in his neck to give him a hairstyle that fits his real one as good as possible.

Copy the iff into your MLB 2k12 main folder.

Use Ty's editor:

face number 1420

skintone 1

Have fun with it,

Wudl83

very nice. It would be a pain in the **** to try to figure out Blender in order to include his ridiculously big nose and set of ears

@Scottibilly: Yeah, if I knew how to work 3d models I would do it. But I am a noob :D

@Louisville: 1) Sure, I am still learning so feel free to criticize. 2) IMO this is also caused by this strange lighting effects in the game. I can guarantee you that you see big differences in skin color when you play on an afternoon or playing at night. I have no clue how to fix this. Some players seem off at day while being spot on at night, some seem off at night while being spot on at day. But I saw this with 2k faces, too. Also some skin tones look different when you open the player editor ingame and compare it to the same player when you play a game.

I can tell you...sometimes you make the cyberface of a player lighter and lighter in photoshop, include it into the game files, look into the game and then you start to wonder...because the cyberface has gone darker and darker ingame the more you made it lighter outside the game. :D

Its the shadow/lighting glitch that 2k made that messes with how a players skin looks. Just look at the difference between a closeup and a distance view of a players face in the edit menu in the game. The distant view gives every player "Ultimate Warrior" facepaint, while the closeup shows light glares that cant be removed no matter what color the skin is. Of course only having a few skintones to work with effectively doesnt help either... Makes my cyberfaces look worse than they actually are.

You are absolutely right. We do not have much to work. But I think that our work makes the game better. At least a little bit.
