About This File This is my first version of my rosters for the 2013 season. All MLB lineups and rosters set as off April 7, 2013. All 2012 stats updated for all MLB 25 man rosters. Played 8 games in a season and no issues so far. ENJOY
Nacho1811 Posted April 11, 2013 Share Greetings, install this roster to open the season but the Astros are still in the National League, this change does not fit with the roster? grateful
trot2millah Posted April 11, 2013 Share Is this meant for MVP12? Crashes on April 11th for me.

grmrpr1313 Posted April 12, 2013 Share You have to physically change the Astros if you check out Dylan has it in either his 2013 schedule or one other from this year. For me I have Astros in the American League.
RedbeardMtn Posted April 12, 2013 Share Look in the forums, you have to edit the team.dat file to move the Astros to AL, instructions are in the forums. The rosters are great, simmed through a whole season without a freeze up. Thanks!
CurveBall Posted April 12, 2013 Share Are the minors also up to date? Also, are the PBP/photo numbers the same as the original MLB12 roster?
phillycollege Posted April 12, 2013 Share Is anyone else having a problem with the ages of the players? I got a team full of teenagers lol

RedbeardMtn Posted April 13, 2013 Share Player ages are pretty much always wrong anymore, I think some of us can get the year changer to work but most of us cannot, you just have to ignore the ages, or just add 8-9 years, based on the fact that we're playing a game released in 2005. I never found a good answer as to why the year changer utility won't work, I assume its a Windows 7 problem. Doesn't affect the players abilities though. From what I've seen the minors are more up to date than they were in the 2013 roster that came out end of Feb., but as stated in the info with this, the next version will have correct minors. I only really know the Rockies depth charts in the minors, and those we're not up to date, but had most of the correct players. These rosters are great for now, though! Gordo Posted April 13, 2013 Share You can always take any roster set into mvpedit and globally changes birthdays by 7 years, if it's that important. Not sure how it would work, but birthday is in the "Modify" field. "Percent" and "Static" probably wouldn't be the way to go, but if you pick "Replace", I'm not sure what it's replacing. You'd have to experiment.
AlePlant Posted April 14, 2013 Share First of all, very good work in updating the rosters! But I've got a very big issue: the game crashes at the very first day of the season when loading the "play" screen. I use the Cubs in Dynasty mode. I've also tried to uninstall and re-install everything for using a clean version but it doesn't help. If I simulate the game it works, but I can't play any game because it crashes. What can I do? Can anybody help me, please? Thanks a lot!
AlePlant Posted April 14, 2013 Share I forgot to say I use MVP 2005.

AlePlant Posted April 15, 2013 Share An update about my situation. I've installed the MVP12 mod and now I can play the games with this roster. But there's another problem: with the 2013 roster, there's no way to put the Astros to the AL. I naturally do what it's necessary (changing the Astros line in the team.dat file to 4 0,5 0 with notepad) but it doesn't work. It works if I play the MVP12 mod without installing this 2013 rosters. What can I do? Every suggestion is appreciated! Thanx!

Thanx! @AlePlant: If you are working on Windows 7, look if you have a C:Users[Your UserName]AppDataLocalVirtualStoreProgram Files (x86)EA SportsMVP Baseball folder. I had the same problem a week ago, even when I change the team.dat or schedule.big file, it doesn't work, because the game use this folder instead of c:ProgramFiles(x86).... Copy the game folder on the the "VirtualStore" folder into "c:ProgramFiles(x86)EA SportsMVP Baseball" folder, then right click > Properties > Security Tab > Edit and if the Local Computer (Users) account is not listed, then add it and set the permissions to Full Control and save all the way out of the properties Hope this help
dbackfan Posted April 30, 2013 Share I am in the same boat as some others, can't get Houston in the AL on MVP12 with these rosters. The default rosters work fine after the team.dat file is updated as indcated on other posts, Houston is in the AL West, but as soon as I load this roster set they are back in the NL. I am on Windows 8 so I do not have the VirtualStore folder under C:Users. I had to reinstall MVP 2005 on this new machien, but I just copied the MVP12 folders from another machine. Perhaps I need to reinstall MVP12 completely. Any ideas?
