Sorry I just bought a copy of MVP 2005 for PC and am kinda new to the mod world. Which sub folder do you need to place the files in? A little unsure still of how to use the roster update. Thanks!

As I said in the support thread, most of the MLB teams do not have full rotations that include the bullpen. Typically what I would do is send players who are injured for the entire year or for a large portion of the year either to free agency or to a minor league team. Otherwise, relief pitchers who were only scheduled to be out for a short while were included in their MLB team's bullpen and assigned accordingly.

Still not working great. Some players only have first initial (Jose Abreau is just J.), some black heads and white bodies, and players like Matt Cain of SF cannot be edited, game crashes automatically when ya try. My MVP Edit is not finding a loc file I apparently need otherwise I'd fix this **** myself.

Valuable suggestions, thank you.

I'll try variously, for confirmation.

I know doing the White Sox is kind of a clusterf**k right now with injuries and where to put other guys like Noesi and Sierra, if ya need help with that, just farm them to Winston Salem or free agency.

Well, I think you bring up a prime example. From what I've seen on RotoWorld (http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/injuries/mlb/all/) the only guy I would send to FA or Single A is Avisail Garcia, who seems to be out for the year. The others are due back within enough of a time frame to merit staying on the MLB team, if that's where they were slated (i.e., you can't lose your job to an injury). It's impossible for a roster maker to have "living rosters" in this game and a lot of guys would like the game itself to decide who gets injured.

The only problem with sending a season-ending injury player to a minor league affiliate is that the game itself will move him up to the MLB squad eventually, unless you significantly reduce his attributes.

If I just copy and paste the contents of the zip to the data/database file and overwrite the existing files, should that work exactly the same as if I delete the previous fules and then paste them into the database file? When i open the game, nothing changes. Or, what might be....do I need to have the MVP 2013 MOD installed or will the MVP 2012 MOD work with these rosters?

Thanks in advance
