I like to use the Blue Jays even though Im a huge Yankee fan. I think im going to try out the Diamondbacks when the URP comes out. I like using NL teams, more thought in managing.

I would either take the D-Rays, or Kansas City Royals, most likely the latter, cause of Pirate's Kauffman :D Since there is always quite a bit of CPU trading during a Dynasty Mode, I would create "myself", @ the weakest fielding position, with decent ratings, not crazy, but good. 8)

This is not a team that I played for, but I played the entire 2005 season with default rosters from the beginning. I played for the Yankees. And Kansas City actually beat Boston for the wild card. (around 90 wins) I played them in the ALCS, and beat them in 7 games. The 7th game was tied at 2 until the 12th when A-Rod came up, and...

Swung un, there it goes to deep right. It is High. It is far. It isssssssssss GONE! An A-Bomb from A-Rod. Ballgame over. American League Championship Series over! Yankees win. Theeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees WIN!

This is a good thread, interesting to see what people would chose. Once I finish the Playoffs of Year 1 in my Dynasty, Im considering a break from that one and start up another one. I will of course keep the other one at least for the 3 years of "my" contract. But one needs balance, hehehe. It is so hard to chose another team, once you played a full season, especially literally playing most of the games.

Devil Rays here and it seems too easy, I think I need to alter the slider settings since I am averaging around 7 runs a game so far in my young season. The first sign it was too easy was when Alex Sanchez led the league in home runs with 3 after 4 games, considering he only has like 8 homeruns in his entire carrer.

yeah, i dont know what it is but for some reason i smack a ton of homers with alex sanchez as well but hardly ever with huff or baldelli... something about sanchez i guess....

I just started a new dynasty with the Jays and for some reason I'm struggling to get my hitting going and aside from Halladay, my starters are getting hit pretty hard (although I'm only 3 games in to the season)

I had a Jays dynasty, but quit it when the URP came out. I couldnt hit with Hillenbrand, I killed the ball with Rios, 6 hr's in 32 games. Wells did ok, Reed Johnson sucked for me also. Pitching, lol same exact as you, did good with Halliday and Speir. But everybody else was suspect

Yeah same with me.. I did some projections by simming multiple seasons and the rest of the starters/pen were crap.. Frasor picked it up in '06 and had great numbers though

For some reason I was using League in mid-relief and he was getting hit hard.. had an ERA around 6.50.. but when I moved him to setup midseason his ERA dropped about 2 but his overall stats were not that great.. Speier even had bad stats when I simmed it with him as the setup man and Frasor being the closer

Same thing with me, League sucked for me in middle relief, sent him to Syracuse, then called him up when my closer went down, put him in and then he dominated. I think he did better for me pitching only 1 inning, and starting the inning with nobody on base.

STEROIDS. Haha. But yeah I'm usually the Rays. Its fun to play with all their prospects. Though I can never resist the urge to trade a lot and usually have a whole team of prospects. So if I ever played 2 or 3 season in, my team would be completely unstoppable and still like 25 years old.

I think if I ever start a new one it'll be with Milwaukee. Trade Overbay for someone and have fun with Weeks and Fielder. I think they'd be a little easier because of having Sheets. But would still be fun.
