one kid to get that I highly recommend (well..one Baseball American Top 100 guy and the other is computer generated)

Get Joey Gathright to be your leadoff man. Don't expect power but use him to bunt his way on with his speed and then it's Vince Coleman all over again. Swipe 2nd...then 3rd.

Also I advise betting Barnes from the Tigers AA team. I have him in AAA for the Iowa Cubs and he is killing the ball. Getting ready to call him up because Kroeger is starting to struggle a little (I did a draft) after a hot start. (hit 3 HR's and 5 doubles in his first 7 ball games but now is in a 0-27 slump with 12 K's and only 1 RBI which came on a bases loaded walk)

i went and got krukow and rushton fromthe giants. here is a question. when do i bring them up from the minors? wait for them to kill the ball in tripple a? or do you wait for the email to come across saying "it may be time to give him a chance in the big leagues?" or did you guys throw him in the big leagues in the first year of your dynasty? -mo

depends on who you have at 1B and OF. i had them as backups for the first year for pinch hitting situations (rushton jacked one in his ML debut for me :D ). around the AS break i had an outfielder go down (think it was Alou) and let Krukow start. he immediately played lights out offense and defense so i never took him out. in the off-season i traded Alou and someone else for Grienke and Krukow and Rushton started the next year.

Grienke wise I gave him an Ace contract and after his first year with me he won the Cy Young 2 of the next 3 years (the middle year he got hurt in August) and 1 Gold Glove in that span. he has become an "indispensible" as well.

(my Giants' owner mode was mostly simmed but when I messed around with new sliders that weren't sim-compatible I stopped playing it. now I play a Royals and a Nationals dynasty - every game style)

i traded laroche for texiera, so maybe i should turn injuries on so that i can call guys up from the minors. one thing is, when i turn it on, at what percentage of energy should i realize that a guy on my roster needs to sit on the bench and rest so that they don't get hurt?
