baseballfans
stadiumguy getting the PC will insure U able to use all the MODS we make here. Getting the other PS2 & XBOX does not. So picking the PC is good choice The game is fun since PC also have the ability for U to go online to play with us. Xbox can do online play too but MICROSOFT charge U a feed. And I don't know if U really want to make Bill Gate even more richer so get the PC is the only baseball game that is most active with Mods right now. Yankee4Life
Stadium guy, you do this: Go to the download area and go to the MVP 2005 area. Now, you see categories. Click on Stadiums. I believe the GA ballpark is on page one. Just download it. Pirate has a read me in the zip file. Remember, before you do anything, back up your original files first. Yankee4Life
No, you aren't an idiot. You just are not familiar with adding the stadium mod. This is what I mean: Pirate modded the Reds ballpark and his mod will REPLACEthe original file with the same name on your hard drive. It is always recommended to back up these original EA files in case you ever want to go back to them or if you don't like how the mod is. So what you do is you back up the files (and Pirate tells you what files to back up) and then you replace them with the files that Pirate made. That's it, you are done. And then you start up MVP 2005 and you will have a modded stadium.
stadiumguy
Ok thanks Yankee4L, should I do that with every file that I download? And is there like a limit on how many files that you should download? Again thanks
spitoon
It's a good idea to back up each file before you install a mod. As Y4L said, if you don't like the mod, or if it doesn't work, you can easily go back to the original (stock) file. I usually just rename the stock file as follows: models.big becomes STOCKmodels.big (uniform mods go here) ingame.big becomes STOCKingame.big (overlays go here) yankday.big becomes STOCKyankday.big (yankee stadium, day version) You get the idea...the only problem is that this process takes up alot of disk space, which can be a problem for some. Don't worry too much about it though, everything can be replaced by copying and pasting from the CD's if you have to. All the stock files can be found on the CD's. Welcome and have fun. UncleMo
stadium guy the absolute best things you can download are the bat selecter, so easy to use mlb ball thing that makes the ball have the mlb logo on it. muy bueno. an updated roster. and lastly the ditty importer, where you can change the music in the game. it is horrible, the menu music is. all of these things are easy for you to download and figure out, and they make the game that much better.
