UncleMo Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 This thread is to serve two purposes: First, to find out how many individuals are out there that are avidly interested in making videos of this fine game. I know one person that is taking a break from making videos and will be getting right back into it soon. Another individual said that he/she may work on a Braves highlight video. That was not set in stone, but was worth mentioning. Second, to get a preview of what is to come for those interested in watching them. I notice that a lot of people will download these videos, so someone out there has got to be enjoying them. Why not advertise right here in this thread what you have coming up and when to look for it. I'll begin. I am near the completion of my project, ahem, humbly entitle THE VIDEO TO END ALL VIDEOS. Titled such, because I thought MAN MY VIDEO IS GOING TO KICK YOUR VIDEO'S BUTT may not sound good to some. I almost went with LOOKIT MY VIDEO I THINK I'M COOL but anyway. My video is rather long, not long winded. I have a signature intro that I have used in my I LIVE FOR THIS VOL. 1 & 2 but I am considering taking that intro out. The reason is that the file size of the video may be too large to upload to the site. I'm sure no one cares much about that but I do. The intro is part of what I do. It ties them all together. Anyway-the music is a techno type of song with some kind of old school rap to it, it is hard hitting and good to listen to. I've got some great plays in the movie, including some stuff that will make you ask yourself "How in the...???". That is all I can say for now. I need to finish the video, then polish it up and I'll try to make sure that I condense the video to a smaller size so it can be uploaded to the site. Look for it in 1 weeks time (estimate). How to make videos/movies: Microsoft Movie Maker, comes free with XP, www.fraps.com and planetgamecam.com (runs better) will help you record your game and take tons of screenshots in your game, and then imagination and time of course. But yeah my Braves video is coming along (slowly, darn university) but the intro looks good so far. houldn't be too long until it's all done. UncleMo Posted May 6, 2005 Author Share Posted May 6, 2005 If you are going to commit to it, please take your time. You do really good work so I wouldn't want that one rushed, me being a Braves Fan. I have the braves chant song which lasts 54 seconds, and it oh so rocks. It is perfect. If you want to make your video only last that long to save you time, that is cool. You can make the video as long as you want. I've mentioned this to you already but I will take your video, edit it down to match the length of the Braves chant song, and learn how to make that an intro movie. Look for that as a side project after I am done with my final video "THE VIDEO TO END ALL VIDEOS" and of course after iansimcox is finished with the footage. At this time, maybe to spice up this thread, if you have a unique idea for a video, I'm sure I'd like to hear about it. Maybe we'd like to tackle any ideas you have for a video. My off the wall idea was to do a video (funny one?) where it only shows celebrations, managers on the mound, managers arguing, and players in the dugout. That would require way too much recording though, as those occurances don't happen often enough. My two cents.
