mojorisin24
I just found this site today- and it's like a dream come true- but I cannot download and install these files properly. Is there something unique I'm supposed to be doing?
MarkB
There should be a readme file inside whatever type of archive you download. Read that and it should tell you how to install correctly. And in future, please refrain from using all uppercase in your thread title. Welcome to the site. :)
spitoon
What do you mean "I cannot download and install these files properly"... Can you not download them, or can you not install them? If you can't download them, you might need to disable your firewall for a moment while downloading. If you can't install them, post your method and we can troubleshoot it. Most files have detailed readme files that should take you through the install process step by step.

mojorisin24
When choose download, and then "open," it starts to load as if it is opening, then just vanished from the screen.
mojorisin24
I'm getting the types of the files that say "Must be opened with a particular program..."
mojorisin24
I'm downloading a free trial with WinRar. This seems essential for this site. Am I correct?
spitoon
You need to Save the files to a location on your computer, not Open them. Opening them tries to excecute the file right away. You'll need to save them, then unzip them and go from there.
Taylor
1. Install WinRAR. 2. Download and save file to desktop. 3. Right click on the .zip or .rar file and select "Extract to (title of file here)" 4. Open the folder that was just created after extraction. 5. View the README.txt or appropriate "how-to" file for instructions as to how to install the mod. PS. Don't forget to copy any files that will be overwritted to a new "backup" folder.

mojorisin24
I'm sorry is these sound so basic.... So is it just another name for "Create/Edit player" when I turn on the game?
mojorisin24
I've discovered it is not. I am now downloading that......
spitoon
Well, basically it allows you to modify the existing stock roster in the game, which would effect "Play Now" and "Exhibition" games, and would change the rosters that you use to start a Dynasty or Owner Mode season. You can't use it to modify seasons already in progress (the .sav's). For that you'd have to use the Create/Edit Player interface during your season.
