bravesj858
with someone able to crack the audio codes for in game music and possibly cracking the ditty music, i thought we can do a ditty project in two parts: 1. get the accruate info on dittys by big league players by checking and/or listening to their at bat songs. 2. choosing the ditty music that we use in the game by poplarity of the song by ballplayers. this will be simular to the batting stances thread. i aldredy have a list of ballplayers ditty music i will post in a bit. CaptainSpooge
I could be wrong but I don't think anyone has found a way to import new walk-up ditties into the game.
UncleMo
some one found a way to change the music for when they show the lineups. check the downloads section for audio. it is the fox mlb theme. so i believe it was said that no one could do that and looky dere. ataris812
Yeah I was about to say the same thing. If those files can be cracked, then surely the batter ditties can be changed. If DYosua, the guy who released the MLB on Fox theme mod, could be so kind as to make a tutorial or something, that would be great.
UncleMo
bravesj858, you know who i'm talking about bro? go private message that dude for the love of you know who. get on this thing dude. you and him could be a one man army, uh, except there are two of you so that could be a two man band....that doesn't work either. time for me to shut up. smart88
even if we do crack it, wont it just allow like 7 or so songs?
Accord
Yeah, it would probably only allow like ~7 songs, but it doesn't matter because you could just set them for the starting 1-7 on your team which would be great.
bravesj858
i think there were 86 dittys or so...that's what the guy said. here are the catergoies: latin dance pop hip-hop country rock heavy rock home run music-we need suggestions on what teams use for home run music. i say about 10-11 songs per ditty...about 5-10 seconds each. first, we need to crack that code. and also, many players dittys are incorrectly set. for example, i know that horacio rameriz plays "california love" by tupac, while the game has him set as latin. mabye the ultimate roster guys can help us out on that. Friedman
I just wanted to say that what you guys are doing is great. I hope it works out alright. If you need me to research, or find out something, just PM me, and I'll be happy to do it. I know that some teams use the Natural theme for the homerun song, some use Whoomp There It Is, and the Yankees use a part from Won't Get Fooled again by the Who. sjnfootball77
actually for the pirates rob mackowiaks song is an ice cube song, so his should be hip-hop
bravesj858
ok, don't forget, most of this data is based off the page 3 article from last season, so there could have been a song change since then. i know that lo duca changed his from rock to pop this year. and antoher note, some players say no music, so for them, we will leave the dittys as is unless there is a major objection to the default ditty.
UncleMo
its not too important as to what the music is anyway. getting to change it is all that matters.
bravesj858
i think getting reconziable music will be better than getting no name music. what we can do now is at least get the correct dittys of the players. later, when someone is able to crack the ditty music, we will recommend songs to be used as proper ditty music. most likely, that's another thread. in general, this is a player ditty corrector thread, simlar to the batting stance corrector thread. bravesj858
looks like someone has been able to crack the dittys. according to hyman, he replaced a default ditty with one of his own and it worked. now all we have to do is determine which dittys go with what type. it won't be easy... bravesj858
This is going to add a whole lot to the game, good work i think it's going to bring the realism factor up a whole other level with this mod. before, it just sounded like blah, but the audio will now sound like a real ballgame, not computer simulation garbage. i will probaly start another thread about which songs should be turned into dittys. with this now a reality, we really need to get that list of players dittys correct.
