drovebykeptgoing1
Can these texture files be used ? They look like they are the same files but I am a little lost as to if they can be imported to use to mod Mvp. If 04 would work will 05? I think 04 worked but Im not sure. Most of it looks way better than in game.

drovebykeptgoing1
It is IMHO the best golf game period. The Pc version is awesome, career mode Rocks! Somehow I wish at times that some of the developers would move over to Mvp, Lol

drovebykeptgoing1
For 20.00 bucks, if you have ever golfed in your life this is a great sim the Trueswing using the mouse to swing is worth the price of admission. So anyone about the grass?

HardcoreLegend
I asked about this earlier in the year, as I'd love to be able to add some of the created real courses people have come up with for Tiger Woods 2k5 on the PC in the XBOX version. My brother and I play Tiger Woods all the time and would love to play Augusta on the game.

The Big Unit
It is IMHO the best golf game period. The Pc version is awesome, career mode Rocks! Somehow I wish at times that some of the developers would move over to Mvp, Lol I currently play 2 offline tours for TW05 and have played this series for years and years and even helped run 2 websites, BUT you're wrong about careeer mode in TW'05. It absolutely sucks this year! They made the season uncustomizable for some insane idiotic reason! You have to play the stock courses that came with the game where as every other year you could use user made courses in season mode. PLUS to make it worse, while each tourney has 4 rounds, which is fine, that's what the PGA does, the tourney switches courses in the middle of the tournament each round! What the heck is that? It's never been and never WILL BE done in real life. Gameplay this year is clearly better than any other year, you're right about that (with the exception of the flop shot where yardages are wrong most of the time), and the whole Tigerproofing is a complete joke. The courses are too tricked up and silly, but season mode you're dead wrong. It stinks compared to every other year. That's the single thing people are complaining about most. (Along with the idiotic break-dancing on the green, which has no place in golf anywhere, after making a putt). Just my 2 cents, but I do consider myself an expert on the subject. Actually the PGA does switch courses during a tourney occasionally. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one example. Another would be this week's EDS Byron Nelson...On Thursday and Friday players play Cottonwood Valley and TPC at Four Seasons resort. Half of the field plays one on Thursday and the other half plays the other. Then they switch on Friday. Starting Saturday they would all play the same course for the remainder of the tournament, I think it's Four Seasons this year...I also consider myself an expert on this subject, being a golf fan and all. HarleyRider
It is IMHO the best golf game period. The Pc version is awesome, career mode Rocks! Somehow I wish at times that some of the developers would move over to Mvp, Lol I'm sorry but I beg to differ. I have been playing computer golf for as long as this ole' 51 year old can remember. The best IMO is Links 2003. There are so many web sites who keep up with this game and keep updating it. Like: www.linkscorner.org. I believe they have the rights to the code now that it's not made anymore. Free downloads of hundreds of courses done by professionals. Also updated patches until your hearts content. The graphics are stunning, alot better that TW2005, IMHO. Cheers!!!

Actually, the PGA does it a couple of times times every year... the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic was at PGA West, Bermuda Dunes CC, and La Quinta CC. Also, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am was at Pebble, Poppy Hills, and Spyglass...
