Metallica
For some reason my portraits for players won't show up in MVP edit. Is this normal, or do I need to import another file?
D.M.Z.
Under tools, click options and make sure that the mvp directory is set on data and not database or any other option.
Metallica
Ok, Now I tried working on the portraits but I cannot save anything as an 8-bit bmp. Its greyed out in my menu. How can I get around this?
D.M.Z.
I recommend that you download the portrait faq that is available in the downloads section. It will tell you how to go about creating portraits. if you have already done this then retrace your steps or reread certain steps to make sure you are doing what needs to be done with the alpha image. Metallica
I've read it and I know exactly what I have to do, my problem is that each time I try to save a portrait as an 8-bit image, the option to do so is unavailable. 1 bit, 4 bit, and 8 bit are all "greyed out" on my computer, making it impossible for me to select 8-bit. I can only select 16, 24, and 32 bit images and I don't know how to get my alpha into an 8-bit if Photoshop won't save it as one.
