Hogfan25
Who's datafile are you using and how realistic are your games in a human vs. cpu game?
MarkB
EA default, no changes, and it's the most realistic I've seen in any baseball game.
raindelay7
I am currently switching between Rodkey's RodData 5 and Chukj45's datefiles - both are solid and definitely improve the player vs. cpu game. With rodData 4 and rodData 5 (version 5 basically smooths out some of the animations) I find there are many more foul balls for player as well as cpu that lead to some very nice long at bats (usually have at least 3 10-12 pitch at bats per game). Chukj45's rules in the cpu thrown balls department - there seem to be many more balls and walks ,even in first inning, are not uncommon. Both datafiles stuggle with stealing issue (at least with my current settings) but then so does the default datafile... btw I have pitch speed at -20...pitcher fatigue at 40 for cpu (10 for player)... and usually play on Allstar setting because so sick of what i believe is an arbitrary (happens no matter what scoring flow of game is) built-in Late-Inning-Rally-Machine on MVP setting!
