Gudraves
I've been avoiding this for awhile now but I need something extra to do so I'm here to tell everyone bout my Mariners. I'll post stats once I reach the All-Star break of the 2006 Season, bout 2 weeks until then, and then post updates after each series. I only really care bout the MLB team but will sometimes post info bout the Minors if I deem it news worthy, but wont happen often. I usually play 1 game of each series during the season and I havent decided how to play the playoffs yet. Heres alittle info bout the team, more info to follow once I reach the All-Star Break. Thanx for reading and supply me with the motavation to keep this going by posting replys or else I get bored with it quickly...haha.
endeavor
I don't want to ruin your Dynasty, Im just gonna be honest here. I realize everyone can do as they please, but MVP 2005 is such a great game, so much fun, doesn't anyone care for realism. I know it is Owner Mode, but making major trades like you did, within months, or weeks, just takes me out of it...sorry. After a season, looking at the FA's, surely, but trade half the roster away, just makes me I don't know what. My Marlins Dynasty has been looked @ over 500 times, yet no one ever posts anything. I know it was easier with the Marlins, but still, a few comments here and there. Seems that only "popular" people get replies in their Dynasties, or I just took the wrong team, but I always thought my Dynasty was interesting to follow, especially some of the games were so tight. Makes you think if it is worth it to share a dynasty.... :?
Gudraves
Yea I understand you, most of my trades were just to get rid of people that wouldnt shut up at all the season before. I usually only ever make trades towards the start of the seaso, and yea this season I made quite a few but I actually have a team that doesnt complain at all right now, granted the team is a bit stacked but I did that on purpose to try taking a big payroll team through Owner Mode as others have deemed it impossible to too hard. I also feel ya on your thoughts of sharing a dynasty, I used to have one going at SimCentral but like you I had 700 views but there was only like 2-3 people that would actually reply about it. But as I am currently out of work I need something to occupy some of my time so I figured why not clutter up the internet with a bunch of useless crap.(HAHA) I'll check out your Marlins dynasty you got endeavor, and maybe we keep each other going if nobody else will help us...haha. hunteroo2
good luck with that payroll...btw, why are you playing ichiro in left and jr. in right? ichiro has the stronger arm and more range...

Gudraves
Nah its cool, I was pitching with my created guy and he got decked with a line-drive right in his throwing arm and put him out for the season, still made the throw to first tho.(HAHA) I actually really like this roster, this is the roster I have used in exibition games against friends and stuff and its pretty balanced. My CAPs arent superstars right out of the gate but they are on the superstar career path so we will see how it works out.

steroid
Interesting post, Ill be checking in on it from time to time. Its always interesting to see how others play and how they do during the rigors of a 162. Im playing the mariners during a dynasty and Im doing well myself. Im 16 - 10 on pro. Im not that great yet, but my stats are evening out pretty well. I will try to do what you did giving stats about your team. Im a stats guy myself and I like to see what players do what and when. I built my team for speed. I dont have a lot of power but alot of contact. I like to hit and run to keep out of the DP. My team is based on created players mostly. I have Carlos Baerga, Rafael Soriano, Jason Phillips, Einar Diaz, and Ramon Santiago as my only major leaguers. I didnt make any superstars. Guess you can imagine my bench...... I dont believe you have to have a team of major leaguers though. I like to make believe sometimes just to see what it could be like to see me in a MLB uni............... We all dream that I think. I come from a different school when it comes to roster creation. Ive created quite a few ficticious players with decent abilities. I made them not to be dominant, but to be better than average. If its stupid and you think so, you can say it. What do you guys do mostly when you set up your rosters.
