"Stream Read Error"

I have done an extensive search on this topic and though many people have had the same problem, a solution was never accomplished.

Problem: I export a cyberface in bmp format from a fsh file, edit it in photoshop 8.0 Cs and then try to import it back into the original fsh file. Whenever i try to do this i keep receiving a "stream read error" even though the format of the importing file is still bmp. Infact, just to test this out, i exported a bmp file, and saved it in photoshop w/o editing it at all and still got the same error. What am i doing wrong.
