To Stadium Modders Re: Fans in the outfield and stuttering

1. First of all I thought downloading a stadium is rediculous considering you don't need to have the ads say the same thing as in real life. So I had no need to download a stadium. But then today I looked at a print screen of Busch Stadium (for the heck of it). I noticed the fans wearing different clothes or something. I looked at other stadiums and noticed that some people's modded stadiums have changed fans. I like that. A lot.

2. QUESTION: If I download a stadium and install it will it cause lag like KCCITYSTAR's uniforms for the entire mlb? I don't want to waste my time installing something that I can have. Another question is "Does anyone have a listing of all stadiums that have changed fans"? I'd like that so I can know what to download. Thanks, Mo.

It may cause stuttering, all systems are different.

As far as the 'waste my time' comment, the stadium install process is the easiest of any on the site.

Those are all pretty negative, and actually ignorant comments. Don't expect too much help. How can you say this about mods that took weeks/months to complete. If you feel that way, keep it to yourself. I couldn't imagine anyone, that would NOT wanna play in a modded stadium, who can stand looking at the EA crap, with EA ads everywhere, how fun.

Sorry, this sounds like someone is bitter because of performance issues. All these mods are great, installing is so easy, can't even be called an installation, and they just don't deserve these words of boredom man.

Is Five my designated answer guy? I get no responses to important questions from anyone except for Five and maybe one other guy I can't think of.

Ok, so I'll just look at each individual screenshot for modded fans and see what works on my system.

I'll appreciate any recommendations ahead of time. And this should by my 500 or 501st post. Whoopy

i'm not bitter, you're angry because maybe you're a modder, and frankly it is just a game. i have only had one problem with performance issues re: using mods and that is with just KC's total mlb unis so your assumption is wrong. I'm not ignorant, maybe airheaded, but honestly, all you guys do, from what I imagine, is change the ads. So, that again, I say, does not matter much. It doesn't change the game that much. I don't care if the ads are made up or if they say "BUY UNIROYAL TIRES". That has nothing to do with baseball or the actual atmosphere. I stated how I felt about downloading modded stadiums for me personally. You have to take it easy. Its just a stadium. If someone told me my videos suck bootie then it is just too bad for me, that is that person's opinion. I know a lot of peope HAVE to enjoy those stadiums, for some reason (maybe I'll see why when I get to try them this weekend), but for me, its nothing. :? Be cool, sorry to offend.

first the answer you wanted. it depends on the stadium really. i find in most cases pirates stadiums ad no lag. in other cases maybe camden yards does. just back up your stadium files and if you don't like a particular stadium overwirte it w/ the original.

now- i don't make stadiums, just uniforms ok. and i'm not ragging i'm just pointing it out to you so no offense meant- non taken bro ok? we get along good mo. but the oedited stadiums ar WAAAY more than just ads my man. you are talking about atmosphere. these guys actually take the inacccurate stadiums and move and add stuff so it is painstakingly realistic. what do they move? well they move and add walls, pepsi power stacks, fans, yes ads you name it. so the end result in MOST cases is a totally different ballpark than the one in the default files. you may feel that way because you are a braves fan and a turner mod hasn't come out yet. but try another team you know pretty well install the park and check it out. the only real modern day park in the dload section i know of that is done without oedit (meaning yes it is ad replacement only) is safeco. give one a try.

now for the uniform problem if kc's are causing you lag then try any of the 2xlite ones by umachines (just put up a braves pack) or bigbully. if you like the minor league games as well try my minor league sets. they are 2xlite as well. and i recently did all the braves affiliates the aa and aaa teams wear almost identical unis to the MLB braves. and the A squad i did- the pelicans- has an awesome 80's throwback in there i know you would love. -shameless plug over-. anyways the 2xlite format will give you higher res unis and not sacrifice pc performance. try these things out.

alright i just wished i didn't make that dude mad though.

i didn't know why people care about 4x and 2x so now i know about that too.

i can't k now what i'm missing until i try these stadiums, if they are adding atmosphere to a park. Lord knows we could use that at turner field.

and by pirate, you mean the guy that goes by pirate, not the pirates as in the team...

yes pirate the guy. LOL although he did one hell of a job on pnc. i swear mo check one of his stadiums first. try pnc even or try petco just to take a look at it. and yeah try some 2xlite unis like i said umachines, bigbullies, or my minor league updates i know you'll love the cheesy 80's throw back for the braves A team myrtle beach.

you have fuzzstudio?

no tengo fuzzstudio.

i tried busch stadium and it was pretty ok. the only thing that mattered was that the fans wore cardinal gear. not much was added to the atmosphere, but it ran good on my PC. I think I'm proving my ignorant remarks right.
