eko718 Posted May 15, 2005 Share Posted May 15, 2005 My game crashes whenever I pick Kansas City at home or on the road. I don't think it is the faces because they all show up in mvpedit, and are fine in the models.big file. I restored the original uniforms, and I have the default stadium as well... so its not those. When I check anyone on this team in edit player, it crashes. Also, when I select KC to play a game, (home or road), the loading bar goes halfway then crashes to windows. eko718 Posted May 15, 2005 Author Share Posted May 15, 2005 With cyberfaces I typically run a .bat file instead of importing them directly into the models.big file. It seems to work better that way. My cyberfaces are not the problem though.... I also noticed that the same crashing problem happens with certain AA and A minor league teams. RAM Posted May 16, 2005 Share Posted May 16, 2005 it's more than likely a roster issue. especially since you metnioned A and AA teams. look through those 2 minor league rosters in mvpedit. and check the appearance id's. almost all of them should be set to 901-915 since virtually all the minor leaugers, except for a few, have generic faces. check that and see if some of them aren't. if you find there are a few change the id # to any of the ones i described above, that should fix it. same thing w/ the MLB teams they may be assigned a custom slot when in fact, they should have a generic face. I even moved some players from MLB to triple A in the games edit player so I could see if the faces were fine and they are(it crashes when I try to check the MLB team). Exploring it more, it seems that it could be a uniform issue. But whats weird is that I reinstalled the original ones and it still crashes. When I pick the home or away uniforms for KC and try to play a game, it loads up half way and then crashes. When I picked thier 1969 uniform or thier spring training uniform though, it loaded up fine and I was able to pitch. But, when they hit the ball into the outfield, it crashed to windows. Edit: By the way the minor league teams for KC do not crash for me. Do you have any uniforms installed? Im thinking it could be a problem similair to the Angels uniform issue. If it crashes on yours then that may be the case.
