Txpennent
My bullpen does not seem to tire much even after a reliever pitches a few games in a row. What slider can make this more realistic? Also, what variables affect how big the green and brown zone is on the pitch meter? I have my user pitch meter difficulty set at -18, and each pitcher has some pitches that have a bigger green zone than his other pitches, and some that are much smaller (some without any green). Why is this? I thought it had alot to do with each pitchers accuracy, however, I have one w/a 75 accuracy w/pitches w/o a green zone. Any ideas? spitoon
The relievers recover way too fast, which is an EA issue, not one that can be fixed by mods or slider settings. I use a 'house rule' whereby I can't use a reliever if he isn't 100%, meaning I won't use a guy if he is 44/45 on his stamina. They still are able to pitch too much, but it's a bit better. As far as the pitch meter goes, the USER Pitch Meter Difficulty slider will change the size of the green/brown area. The size of it depends on a few factors, mainly fatigue and the pitchers control attribute. Moving the slider to the negative makes both areas smaller, you can't control them separately. As a pitcher tires, or if he doesn't have good control numbers, you will get into a situation where there is no green left. Obviously, if you've seen my pitch meter mod, I don't mind it. In fact, I have a number of starters that, with my mod and slider setting (-25), have no green even right at the start of the game. It allows for a more realistic number of walks, the downside is that K's are slightly harder to come by.
