MarkB
I think in some cases you might have to click the "Reset rosters" button in the game menu screen. Not too sure though.

JoeRudi26
Make sure all the roster (for each MLB,AAA,AA,A) spots are filled. This would include all lineups LwDH, RwDH, and so on. Hope this works. :)
reddog
I never touched the rosters at all, I just used ultimate roster 2.2 and then exported it, is there a something I am doing wrong when importing or what. I just import data then database right. then export into data database the new roster right, just about ready to hanger up.
JoeRudi26
As MarkB stated, you DO have to hit (manage rosters) RESET ROSTERS first, when going back into the game. Why you're getting Microsoft Word Files is way beyond me. If this doesn't help, try searching the forum for Rosters. I'm sure you'll eventually narrow down your problem. JoeRudi26
Ok, I was looking around, maybe this will help. Open MVP Editor Click Open->Select Your New Roster File Save as roster.mbe Export back into the game Reset Rosters Choose this roster in the game. It should work. Jitter
If your .dat files are showing up as word files you can follow these steps to fix that. goto my computer, then goto tools at the top and then folder options goto the file types tab and scroll down till you see DAT Highlight it then hit delete. This will unregister the .dat extension w/ word Goto C:documents and settings(yourname)local settingsapplication data and delete the iconcache.db file. Reboot and you should no longer see the word icon for your roster files. P.s> The iconcache.db file automatically recreates itself so you will not harm anything.
