nittanylionfan3
I decided to start another dynasty, using swingingsoriano's 2005 rosters, I'm using my Braves like always. MVP Baseball 2004 Setting- All Star (subject to change if I start winning to much) Pitch Cursor- On Hot/Cold Zones- On Strike Zone- On Vibration- On (it makes it much harder to locate your pitches) No Datafiles as of now (might start using Spitoon’s walk datafile) Sliders- Varying till I get the right ones Fair trades are off, but I'm not going to rip off the computer, too much. Depth Chart: C- Victor Martinez 1B-Adam LaRoche, Julio Franco 2B-Marcus Giles SS-Rafael Furcal 3B- Eric Chavez OF-Ichiro, Carl Crawford, Mark Kotsay, Raul Mondesi, Ryan Langerhans, Onil Joseph SP-Tim Hudson, John Smoltz, Mike Hampton, Horacio Ramirez, John Thomson RP-Jay Powell, Jorge Sosa, Kevin Gyrboski, Chris Reitsma, Trey Hodges, Tom Martin, Roman Colon CP- Shingo Takatsu (no more Kolb) Budget- 39,178 Payroll- 35,448 Bank- 3,730 Game 1, New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves: Atlanta, Georgia: Turner Field Pedro Martinez vs. John Smoltz Final: Atlanta 3 5 0 New York 2 8 0 Pedro Martinez pitched six innings of no-hit baseball, using his changeup and circle-change to fluster the Atlanta batters, but only striking out two batters, before Marcus Giles and Eric Chavez broke it up with consecutive solo homers. Martinez was able to get out of the inning with the game still tied at 2, but the tide had clearly swung. Neither team scored again until the bottom of the ninth when Eric Chavez jacked his second homer off of Braden Looper. The celebrations continued for some time as Atlanta was able to pick up its first win of the season against their rival. Jorge Sosa picked up the win in his first appearance with the Braves. John Smoltz pitched six solid innings but left losing by two and picked up the no decision. Jorge Sosa W (1-0) 0.00 ERA Braden Looper L (0-1) 9.00 ERA
