packmanuk
I'm having real problems getting steals. I also can't throw anyone out when they attempt to steal a base. I must of attempted over 20 steals and made it maybe once on a wild throw. I haven't thrown out 1 runner in over 30 attempts. I've tried all the tips on stealing but nothing works for me. I've decided to help myself with some slider edits and need some help. I need to know which direction to move the sliders to help me - User steal speed - The higher the number (+ not minus) the faster I am ? User runner steal delay - The higher the number (+ not minus) the longer I wait before taking off ? Thanks in advance for any help.
gcurrier2004
Throw some pitch outs, and throw alot of high outside fast balls so your catcher can get a better throw off. Also what team are you using. If you have Piazza back there, IRL he will only throw 1-30 lol. Also make sure your stealing with a 2 step lead, and try to do it on a count that is in the batters favor. And also try to do it when the pitcher has a long delivery.

User Steal Speed: + = faster : - = slower User Runner Steal Delay: + = longer delay : - = less delay Therefore + steal speed & - steal delay gets you faster to the bag! Also, do a manual slide into 2nd holding the analog stick up and right (head first slide to outfield side of the bag). Once I started doing that I really upped my stolen base success.
