NYYKing
mpeg4? you meant AAC? aka M4A or M4P? Did you buy them from iTunes Music Store? If you bought the song from iTMS, you can't just convert it to mp3. But if it's just AAC from for ex a song you ripped, then you can convert it to mp3 in iTunes. Just make sure in the preferences, the export setting is set as mp3.
sol_good
If you haven't found a method that works, I've got one that I used for the Music Editor tool. You don't need a separate program to convert a protected AAC track into MP3 format. All it takes is a few minutes, blank cd (preferably an rw disc to erase when you're done) and cd burner. First select Edit > Preferences and click on the Importing tab. Under Import Using choose MP3 Encoder and hit Ok. Done with the settings. Now put all the songs you want to convert into a new playlist and burn the list to a cd. Once the disc is done, import the disc back into iT. iT will import all the tracks into your Music folder in unprotected MP3 format. The default path is My DocumentsMy MusiciTunesiTunes Music. Hope this helps.
