tph2345
hi everyone! first off i would like to say that this site kicks ***! i have learned how to import rosters using MVP edit but cannot figure out what i need to do to import cyberfaces and uniforms. I also read that i need to be backing up my files before i change them? Can anyone make a step by step instuction guide for me on how to import faces, uniforms, and how to back up my files. I would be very appreciative as i do not have a lot of knowledge of these things. Thank you very much!
bjbourg1
As far as backing up your files goes: once you install the game, go to the directory where you installed it, and copy and paste the main MVP Baseball 2005 folder (default: C:Program FilesEA SportsMVP Baseball 2005) to another location where you know it is placed. Remember to COPY & PASTE, and NOT CUT & PASTE because cutting and pasting the folder will move the folder entirely. The copying and pasting should take a few minutes depending on the speed of your cpu. That is what I did to backup my original files. Hope this helps and sorry I can't really help you with the other questions because I am just starting to learn how to install uniforms, faces, portraits, rosters, etc. I'll leave those topics to the real experts on the site. Good luck.
bigbully
For uniforms, some modders have a batch file that will overwrite existing uniforms. For those that don't, there's an EXCELLENT program fuzzone created call FuzZ Studio - it's a must have. It will allow you to add up to 12 uniforms to each team (except for Toronto - you can only add 11). Most cyberfaces have batch files as well. Just remember to backup before you install mods. Have fun!

Well, the point is, now you have everything backed up, so if you mess up, you can always simply insert the backed up file in place of the file that you messed up.
