NYYKing
I was playing a dynasty game between my NY Yankees franchise and the Baltimore Orioles. Randy Johnson and Sidney Ponson were on the mound. From the start, Randy Johnson did not pitch well. He immediately gave up one run during the first, but I was able to score two runs up against the Orioles during the bottom of the 1st. Fast forward to the 4th inning, The orioles were able to gain up two runs on me to get a 3-2 lead. Unit still wasn't sharp, and he barely gets the job done. Baltimore's big bats like Tejada were ripping the field all over. Tejada was actually a double shy from a cycle. So now, i decided to switch out Johnson during the 5th because he had already walked 3 batters, gave up 3 runs in 4 and is facing the big bats. I decided to bring in Tanyon Sturtze because he's usually reliable. Sturtze was able to work 5,6,7th scoreless innings. On the other hand, my hitting is still struggling. I managed to score a run off a sacrifice fly on the bottom of the 8th to get a 3-3 tie...and this is really where it got intense. I brought out Mariano Rivera during the top of the 9th to keep the tie in tact so maybe I can score a run to win the game. As usual, 1-2-3 from Mo. Bottom of the 9th, Jeter led off with a single, and he successfully stole second base the 2nd time in the game. A-Rod managed to get a blooper to right, and I was going to run Jeter home, but somehow, Jeter stopped at 3rd (i think i screwed up the control). Sheffield then hit into a double play, and Matsui struck out, leaving Jeter on 3rd. :x I proceded to let Rivera work the 10th because he had a quick and easy 9th inning. My hitting struggles once again. Fast forward to top of 16th. Felix Rodriguez was pitching, and by that time, i used up most of my bullpen already. He actually gave up a homerun to Tejada giving a 4-3 lead to the Orioles. By that time, i was almost giving up because i haven't been able to score clutch runs in the game. So, Matsui, Posada and Sierra were up at bat. I hit a single with Matsui. Posada batted, and somehow, magically, Posada hit a high fly ball and it was dropped by Sosa. Matsui advanced to 3rd, and Sierra hit one to the right field to tie the game at 4-4. Unfortunately, that was the only run i scored during the inning, and the game is tied once again! Now to the 18th, still a 4-4 tie. Mike Stanton pitched a 1-2-3 inning, and Jeter, A-Rod and Sheff were up at bat. Jeter and A-Rod struck out, so I'm left with Sheffield, who has been on a hot streak hitting 8 homeruns in 11 games. As soon as I saw a fastball that was flat, I crushed it. Went all the way into monument park, and I finally won the game 5-4 in 18 innings!

SwinginSoriano
Great Naval Battles IV! Anyway, my best MVP game ever was one against Boston. Almonte hit a walk-off against Foulke in extra innings. In the ninth I also scored three runs to tie the game. Of course, my perfect game with Kevin Brown (back to back actually, never had one before or after) was a great one.
