michaeljjt
Ok, my game was running beautifully. 33 games into my season...I decided to update my video card drivers (Radeon9800 Pro). Now all of a sudden my entire game looks like someone hit Fast Forward. Not only do the players run and move super fast...but my menus and the scores scrolling on the screen move at blazing speeds too. I think someone posted about this a long time ago....But I did 3 searches and could not find anything. If anyone has a solution or a link to, it would be greatly appreciated. spitoon
This problem showed up after EA removed the FPS cap in patch 2 (IIRC), on faster machines the game seems to run out of control and goes way too fast. The generally accepted solution (though it didn't seem to work for everyone) was to set your monitor's refresh rate to 60Hz, and enable Vsync in your video card control panel AND in the game's video option page. This effectively limits the FPS to a max of 60 which should control the 'fast-forward' to a certain extent. Search does work: Search for: "fast forward" (with the quotes), and make sure you click the "Search for all terms" button just below the search field. Search in the MVP 2005 Support forum. I got three hits including yours.
michaeljjt
thanks spitoon. sometimes the search tho is limited by what words you can think up at the moment. I tried "game speed" and "game fast" without the quotes, and I think I got 193 pages returned to me I just sit there and im like: ok, what other words are close to that that other people would use! I rolled back my drivers for the time being....and it works the way it used to. When I have patience and time....Ill upgrade again and see if what you said works. Thanks again.
