Zelda55
ive tried the kumala datafile + pro sliders combo but i destroy the opposition and get hits way too easily. what should i go with...i had been tweaking around with all-star sliders and couldnt find the perfect balance (one thing that always bugs me is that i can throw a strike whenever i want to). APR
Well, if you can always throw a strike, put that User Pitching Meter at -50.
JP_Frost
I'll pm you my sliders later on today ( I'm at work now ), but I use Rodkey's datafile with spitoon's walk fix. Rod's datafile makes the game harder itself - you really have to hit the ball well to get a single, let alone get extra basehits, so you can't just try to pull a ball when it's over the outside of the plate, cuz it will result in either a weak grounder or shallow fly ball. Kumala sent me Rod's datafile with Kamasutra's espn1 pitching cam and a new batting cam ( I'm not sure who made it ), but that batting cam seems to result in pitches coming faster at you ( could also be the datafile ) - nothing changed in pitch speed, but when a guy now throws you a mid to upper 90's fastball, it's definately hard to hit cuz it blazes right past you. I'm gonna up my power slider a bit, cuz it's a bit too hard to hit a homer ( I currently have it at -20 I believe ). My pitch meter difficulty/accuracy might not be as low as some people have it over here, but I had to adjust to Spitoon's walk fix, so as I go along I'm begining to lower it. I usually average between 2-5 BB's which seems to be pretty accurate. Pitch counts are alot better as well - no more 75 pitch CG's - if I pitch into the 8th or 9th I'm usually over 100 pitches. I try to aim for an average of 15 pitches per inning. anyway...I'll pm you my sliders and I suggest using the roddata 2005 datafile ( even though Kumala's are extremely accurate as well ). xx74xx
I can only speak in regards to the slider set. http://www.mvpmods.com/modules.php?name=Do...amp;lid=1621#dl I have tried many slider sets, mostly All Star and MVP, but couldn't find the right "feel" to the game due to "boosted" player ratings on anything above pro. These sliders have definitely given the game the most realistic feel. As I posted before, I had to increase pitch speed from -4 to -1 so I couldn't turn on fastballs so easily. I believe the the datafile can only be used on the PC version?
