Crowd Chant with Bullhorn submitted. Feedback Here...

I'm looking at getting some chants to come up instead of music for when the batter comes up. That is the purpose behind this. Also, to whet your appetite so that there will be a desire to have people get working on a crowd mod. i'd like it if one of these came on instead of"over rated" or in addition to it.

if you have experience with the WUMCHAN then there will be no worries. Just back up any files necessary. should work like a charm. lucky charms.

I think the original game file does say things like "you suck, jeter(or Shef)" At least I heard it.

What's funny about the "overrated" chant is that I often hit HRs while they chant. :D

"havent tryed it since u said in the read me that u havent neither so im looking for some feedback on this as well."

I did not try it because I'm at work. Not because it will mess your game up. Just FYI for those that may get scared because of this.

Boy the feedback is overwhelming :p:lol:

I tried it last night. I converted the file to .asf format using the ditty importer. I then imported the crowd chant and bullhorn file into the game using the WUMCHAN. I used this one file and replaced EVERY latin song so that if a player's song is set to LATIN music only this one will play when they come to the plate instead of any other latin song(the songs play randomly through the latin music play list, so for me to fire up the game and hear the chant (instead of song) i wanted to hear every single time i had to do it this way. Hope that makes sense. I then played a game to test it out. The file is 8 seconds long. When Furcal came to the plate only 4 seconds of the crowd chant played. No bullhorn since it starts at about second 5 or 6. I also noticed that it was too loud. The crowd was not going wild so when Furcal comes to the plate the crowd chant makes it like the crowd immediately got crazy/wild/loud for only 4 seconds and then hushed again. Lastly, I hear a tiny bit of a popping noise at the end of the crowd chant. Not sure why but maybe Hyman or IANSIMCOX can assist....hint hint...

Fixes: I reduced the file to about 5 seconds long. Still a tiny bit too long. A tiny bit. The crowd was still too loud. However, if the crowd is already going wild because you just scored a couple of runs and then the next batter comes to the plate, the crowd is still going wild from excitement of what just happened, and then right as that batter comes up the crowd chant comes on and sounds like it is part of the game since the crowd chant with bullhorn is loud and the crowd is going wild/loud from EAs default crowd noise. What I may get to do tonight is reduce the volume of the crowd chant with bullhorn. Reduce the file size from 5 seconds to 4. And ignore that tiny pop sound at the end that occurs and hope that Hyman and IANSIMCOX chimes in on this thread so that I won't bother them with a PM. When I do all of this I'll release it as a version 2. BTW, for those scared to use this version 2, forget about the popping noise. It is not that big of a bother and plus you can always change this back by going back to your backed up file.

Did anyone get to use this? Any comments, suggestions, jeers?
