-moose-
I've had a pretty good start to my dynasty season on all-star mode this year... 17-3 so far with a lot of blowouts and such.. which is kind of bizzare because this is the 2nd time ive done a dynsasty and the first time i was only .500 a month in and i ended up not liking some of the roster moves i had made so i started over.. the opposing teams just cant hit my starters at all.. to thepoint where my relievers are getting antsy about appearances.. TROR
have you used a diffrent datafile/sliders?
hefalumps
I agree... I started using Kumala's combo datafile 6 that tweaks the control and pitching meters - I think it also makes hitting a bit harder and changes the ball physics a bit - overall it makes the game much more challenging. I was using that datafile with my own custom sliders on All-Star, and I was having good, competitive games - but I was hardly hitting ANY home runs at all. So I put it on Pro level using Big Unit's Pro Human sliders (you can download em here) and the game was just as difficult from a pitching/making contact perspective, but when I really made good contact with a ball, it would really fly off the bat. I've only had a chance to play one game using that new sliders/datafile combo, so I can't say it's perfect for me. But download and try out some of the different sliders and datafiles and it'll completely change the game for you.
Rush2112
its certainly time man to either use a new data file that makes the pitching meter much harder to use or bump up to MVP. I got my settings on default...sliders/data file.... and play on MVP cause the default all-star is far too easy. After about a month on MVP the game is too easy for me again so i am just about ready to look into datafiles and see which one i like. Like one of the guys said though.... a new datafile changes the game completely whether its on pro or all-star. Obviously man the more you do something the easier it gets so if you leave your settings as is, it just might be a season of blowouts for you. Shef87
I did a Dynasty with the Red Sox on All-Star mode (default sliders) and my record through 3/4 of the season was about 85-30 and it was getting kind of boring. So, I started another Dynasty on MVP mode and it's ALOT more fun and alot more challenging and it should make for a good post season.
sfgiantsflgators
i play on pro after i dominated on all-star but i do it with kumala's datafile and a lot of slider tweaking. i'm having a pretty good go with my dynasty but it took me some work to find a good mix of both.
