Who is Blacklet?

im a reds fan and i dont know who is blacklet

Griffey is doing good :wtg: , but your reds not so good

Blackley ;) - is Travis Blackley, someone i picked up in a Trade from Seattle.

My pitching staff has been subject to a bit of a shake up, due to poor performances and injuries - hence my starting rotation of:

Eric Milton

Brandon Claussen

Jeriome Robertson

Travis Blackley

Brett Evert

Pretty inexperienced :(

cheers for checking in - lets hope i can do the Reds proud next year :wtg:

In the offseason, look for Chone Figgins. Everytime i finish the 1st year of a dynasty he is always available. He's a great young player that can play almost any position and would be a great addition to ur team.

Where are R.Ortiz, Paul Wilson, Aaron Harang?

thats so bad, fastflink has a great idea, look for prospects in the offseason, say good bye to Kearns and Graves and youre not ussing Randa so Good bye to him too and if you want say good bye to Joe Valentine and another IF.its better do not release Edwin Encarnacion.

I have question for you: in your game, you can put the last name Encarnacion completely? i tried to put Encarnacion but it says Encarnacio and theres no more space for the "n". And who is that pitcher dominguez?

In your next season Johnny Damon is going to be on the F.A. list DONT offer a contract to him,his contract is gonna be very dificult he'll have a contract for 14 millions or more, its better to have all your fielders the next year (except A.Kearns)

:attention: sign in the off-season players that doesnt have contracts that doesnt use more than 6,000,000

I can help you with the rosters and prospects on the game, if you accept ill help you in the Batting Order and Pitching and how to spend money in Off-season.

If you actually read the dyansty, you'd see that Ortiz has been traded, and Wilson and Harang are injured.

Lual: I would'nt take this guys info abou prospects and stuff if he can't even follow your dyansty.

Dude, Chill out, he was just trying to help Lual. that doesn't mean you have to snap at him and tell Lual not to use his info. Lual, he's trying to help you and he's right. You need to look for prospects in Free Agency. I'm pretty sure Chone Figgins, and Jeremy Bonderman are 2 of the top Free Agents, cuz their contracts expire.

OOPS, i already read the dynasty but i didnt find Ortiz, so i wrote that to help Lual on his dynasty and i was thinking on another thing and i put :

Where are R.Ortiz, Paul Wilson and Aaron Harang

Sry for my error, I only try to help Lual, he is a Reds Fan like me, and he's in problems with his organization, so i try to help him (no offense Lual)

All the dynasties i have played are with the reds and im a very good ussing the money in offseason plz take this info and you will be a play-off maker the next season, and you can see your reds winning the NLDS, the NLCS and if youre lucky, THE WORLD SERIES :wtg:

Upcoming Series - 3 Games @ Washington Nationals

Game 1: Cincinnati Reds (54-70) @ Washington Nationals (63-61)

'Nats Bite!

game127.jpg

Above: Griffey drives in 2 runs, Right: Freel goes down looking!

The Nationals strolled to a victory over the Reds at RFK Stadium, to keep alive their outside hopes of making the playoffs.

Guillens 3 run shot in the 3rd inning, helped put the Nationals into a 6-0 lead, as Blackly lasted just 4 innings in his roughest start to date.

The Reds had little to celebrate, and where left with some minimal consolation with Griffey and Lopez driving in 3 runs as the Reds left the field with a 6-3 loss.

Not the ideal start to this roadtrip, so the Reds will look to turn things around and make sure they dont slip away after all the recent hard work.

Reds Talk:

Blackley: "Im still learning how to intimidate on the big stage, it will take time"

Miley: "We will look to take 6 or 7 wins from this long road trip"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Griffey - 2/5, 2RBI, 1 Double

Lopez - 1/3, 1RBI, 1 Triple

Willingham - 2/3, 1 Double

Game 2: Cincinnati Reds (54-71) @ Washington Nationals (64-61)

Reds Choke!

game128.jpg

Above: Dunn makes a climbing grab, Right: Robertson sparks off a brawl!

Washington came out fighting and clinched a comeback win over the Reds, with a 3 run 7th inning ensuring a 4-3 win.

The Reds had taken the lead with 2 solo shots in the 7th, by Dunn and Casey respectively. Unfortunately the ex-National Gary Majewski couldnt hold onto the slender lead, giving up a 3 run homer to Guzman, as the Nationals snatched the win.

The main talking point was a bench clearing brawl in the 4th inning, sparked by Robertsons wild pitch which hit Byrd. The National raced to the pitcher, which instantly sparked the mass brawl in the diamond.

This fight seemed to give the Nationals more life than the Reds, as it inspired them to win the game, and leave them 1 away from a sweep of their guests.

Reds Talk:

Robertson: "The pitch just got a bit loose. There was no intent, so he had no reason to start that brawl"

Majewski: "Ive just got to keep believing in my stuff, though its rough being beaten by your old team"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Dunn - 2/4, 1HR, 2RBI

Casey - 2/4, 1HR, 1RBI

Pitching:

Robertson - 5.1I 6H 1R 1ER 0BB 2K 1HR 4.15ERA

Game 3: Cincinnati Reds (54-72) @ Washington Nationals (65-61)

National Sweep!

game129.jpg

Above: Lopez is forced into a wild throw, as the Nationals tie it. Right: Casey is not amused!

Sweep time in DC, as the Nationals blew it, then won it in a crazy 9th inning.

Washington had a 4-1 lead going into the 9th and appeared to have tied things up by getting 2 outs early in the inning. The Reds stuck to their task, and with 2 men on base, Willy Mo Pena stepped up to jack one to deep left...and gone. The game was tied at 4-4 seemingly getting Milton off the hook.

Unfortunately, Milton wanted to pitch the 9th, and with 2 outs, he gave up the game winning run as Guzman again drove the Nationals to victory.

Pittsburgh awaits the Reds, as they will hope to pick things up after this bad series in the Capital.

Reds Talk:

Miley: "We asked Eric if he wanted to hand the ball over, but he looked in good shape, its just one of those things"

Milton: "I should of left the mound, but i told Skip to leave me in. I have to take responsibility for this loss"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Freel - 2/4, 1 Double

Pena - 2/4, 1HR. 3RBI

LaRue - 2/3, 1RBI

Pitching:

Milton - 9I 15H 5R 5ER 0BB 3K 3HR 4.96ERA L(13-10)

Upcoming Series - 4 Games @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Game 1: Cincinnati Reds (54-73) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (55-73)

Pirates Romp It!

game130.jpg

Above: Pena racks up another bomb, Right: Whose more p*ssed? Griffey or Miley?!

Dave Miley saw his young pitching staff again collapse, as the Reds are starting to rue their lack of depth in their starting rotation.

Injuries have forced the Reds hand in the last few months, and with newly acquired Evert thrown into todays game, the Reds could only hope he could hold out.

The Pirates had other ideas, and soon cranked 3 homers, racking up 7 runs before Evert was pulled after 4IP. 3 more runs where added for the Pirates who soundly beat the Reds 10-4, surviving a late rally by the visitors.

Pena hit another homer in the Reds attempts to fight back, but 4 runs was a long way off the required total. Cincinnati will hope Claussen can get his game together, or the Reds could slip to their 5th straight loss.

Reds Talk:

Pena: "Ill keep hitting them, a 40 season is not unthinkable"

Evert: "It went wrong in alot of areas for me today. We didnt expect to get beat up this badly"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Lopez - 3/4, 1RBI

Pena - 1/4, 1HR, 1RBI

Freel & Griffey - 1RBI

Pitching:

Evert - 4I 9H 7R 5ER 0BB 0K 3HR 5.40ERA L(1-1)

Game 2: Cincinnati Reds (54-74) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (56-73)

Reds Square Series!

game131.jpg

Above: Claussen gets 4Ks and his 8th win of the year, Right: Encarnacion is congratulated as he drives in the 2 key runs for the Reds!

The Reds fought back to tie the series in Pittsburgh with a tight 4-2 win, thanks to a 2RBI single from Rookie 3B Edwin Encarnacion.

Pittsburgh had lead 1-0 and 2-1 through 5 innings, but they couldnt hold on, as Griffey and then Encarnacion added the key runs for the Reds to get the win.

Brandon Claussen will be happy with his 8th win of the year, and Yan pitched a stable 8th and 9th to make sure the Reds held on to their slender advantage.

2 more games left in Pittsburgh, as both sides will hope to nick the series to avoid life in the NL Central cellar.

Reds Talk:

Claussen: "A 10 win season would be a nice acheivement for me"

Encarnacion: "I have to make the most of this chance to shine in the Majors. Thankfully things are falling nicely for me."

Reds Notables:

Hitting:
