I've been noticing this for quite a while. I absolutely love your dynasty, and I realize you're not super familiar with U.S. units of measure. So those are 400 * foot * homeruns. There are 3 feet in a yard. So if they were 400 yard homeruns, they'd be travelling 1200 feet each. Not likely.

Anyway - I am always amused by this little quirk when I read your dynasty - and I figured I'd mention it.

Later.

The Phillies outside playoff hopes where kept alive after this 6-1 beating of the Reds.

Baseball in 2005 is finished at the GABP, as the Reds lose a tough one, in 10 innings.

The Phillies snatched a 5-4 win, off the back of the Reds leaving the bases loaded in both the 8th and 9th innings, causing the fans frustration to boil over.

The 10th inning saw Brazoban give up the crucial runs, as Thome slammed a 3 run shot deep to left. Finally the Reds put some more runs on the board in the 10th, but only 2 came home, leaving them just short.

Goodbye GABP, we will return.................as the Big Red you once loved!

Game 1: Cincinnati Reds (65-90) @ Milwaukee Brewers (80-75)

Battered!

game159.jpg

Above: Milton gets hit, and hit, and hit, can you see a theme here? Right: Encarnacion steps up with some sound plays at 3rd!

With 7 games left, we finally see the lowest point the Reds can go, as they leave the park with a humiliating 16-1 loss, being outhit by the Brewers 21-6.

Milton looked like a high school chump, going 4 innings, giving up 18 hits and 14 runs, as 4 jacks went soaring into the Miller Park stands. This included Spivey's Grand Slam, and 2 dingers by Cliff Lee.

Game 2: Cincinnati Reds (65-91) @ Milwaukee Brewers (81-75)

Pena's Game!

game160.jpg

Above: Dunn strikes out looking, before (Right) Pena jacks his 40th of the year!

Todays game was Willys game, as he dinged his 40th homer, and drove in his 100th RBI as the Reds took some revenge for yesterdays humiliation.

Pena's shot came in the 8th, as the game was tied 1-1. His 3 run jack sparked another 2 runs from the Reds, as they sealed a 6-1 win late in the game.

Mercker picked up the win, but Claussen went a good 6IP, giving up just the 1 run, as he held the Brewers offence in check.

This is a marker year for Pena, who will hope to carry this form into 2006, and take the Reds to the success, they desperately crave.

Reds Talk:

O'Brien (GM): "People questioned our call to make Willy our everyday RF. But he has proven his ability, and the loss of Kearns is pretty insignificant to us"

Pena: "Thats 2 targets hit this year, ive enjoyed playing everyday for this team"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Lopez - 3/5, 2RBI, 2 Double

Pena - 1/4, 1HR, 3RBI

Game 3: Cincinnati Reds (66-91) @ Milwaukee Brewers (81-76)

Brewers Edge It!

game161.jpg

Above: Aurilia drives in 2, and Casey snares the ball at a stretch to get the out!

The Brewers miniscule NL Central Pennant hopes stayed alive, as this win moved them 3GB of the stuttering Cubs.

Cincinnati blew 2 leads, 2-0 and 3-2, before again leaving the bases loaded in the 9th, as the Brewers held on to wrap up a 5-3 win.

Harang went 5IP retiring 15 straight, before a rocky 6th, saw him give up 8 hits and 5 runs, including a Spivey and Lee homerun double.

The Reds huffed and puffed to pull things back, but failed to take advantage at the right times, and now trail 2-1 in the series, with 1 game left.

After this series, the Reds will travel to the Cardinals for their final series, and a farewell to a disappointing 2005.

Reds Talk:

Aurilia: "My future is still up in the air. Ive had no firm offer from the Reds, so my career may take a new path this off-season"

Harang: "Im scheduled 1 more start, i want to end the season on a personal high"

Reds Notables:

Hitting:

Aurilia - 3/5, 2RBI, 1 Double

Casey - 2/4

Harang - 2/3

Pitching:

Hey cubsfan, you're the one with the red face here. And don't crucify him for not following because he just joined. And also, nice try on the hidden "douchebag". You might've gotten away if he didn't have to quote you.

Anyways, keep this crap out of Lu's dynasty here. If there's a problem, my reccomendation is to take it to PM.
