NYM
Hey guys some of you have been complaining about players complaning about playing time. It all has to do with the contract. Indispencible- That means they play everyday no questions asked. Everyday- That means they play practically everyday but they take off a game here or thier. Backup- Use these players only when you have a tired player. Thats why there backups. Situational- Self explanitory. They come in for pinch running and hitting. I hope this helps. Check your players contract to see what kind of player he is!

low42
This isn't necessarily true. I've got guys signed as backups who get a more than a realistic amount of playing time but constantly complain and are always upset. I also have everyday players get ticked off if they sit out two games a month. This is more of a problem with the coding of the game. The idea was good, but the execution wasn't. It's just a feature the developers went over-board on. It's unrealistic at best, just like CPU-CPU trades. It's exaggerated too much.
RiceBoy
And then there are players that are batting .210 or pitchers with a 6.40 ERA and they feel they are "vastly underpaid" or are "very unhappy about his current contract".
Jitter
I really wish I could write emails back to the complaining players although I doubt the game would understand the words I would use I had this one guy who was out for like 40 days w/ an injury and I play him 2 games in a row and he complains about playing time?? I just ignore that player happiness.

Dan
is backup used for switching off, too? I signed Jon Olerud and I already have Tino Martinez but I switch them off...or would they want the contract to ensure that they'll keep playing that same amount of time?
