here's a picture of the new fox overlay for anyone who wants to do it:

i apolize for the poor quality, usually they would come from my computer's tv tuner card, but it's been acting stupid as of late. may have to reinstall it or get a new one....

not pictured....you know that fox now has the basepaths come out sometimes and have pics of the players running the bases...if you've seen fox telecasts this year, you know what i mean...mabye we can put the same metalitic type effect into the baserunners screen on mvp. i couldn't get a picture of it partly becuase of my erraditic card. hopefully someone covers for me.

I don't know much about doing these kinds of mods, but I imagine it would be nearly impossible to do an identical copy of this new Fox overlay without getting into the MVP source code.

As you might have noticed, when a team homers or an 'event' occurs, the team logo flashes across the overlay and that little noise plays. I imagine it would be impossible to implement this into an overlay mod as the game currently stands.

It would be possible, however, for somebody to pick a neutral color (white for example), and use that type of LED-type font for the team names to appear on screen. That shouldn't be too big of an issue it would seem...
