maxbjr
Zito seems to end up on the block about late May alot. (well in the 4 or 5 seasons I've played since last Dec, I end up starting a new dynasty after each major roster release from Totte ) I haven't started a new dynasty with UR 7.0 yet, I'm waiting untill UR 7.+ release after Aug 1st because of the possable trades at the deadline. Other than Wood and/or Prior, like philliesphan18 mentioned, I can't think of anyone else importaint always being on the block by the end of May. D-Unit
The CPU always seems to want to trade Tampa Bay's Crawford by early May. He looks good playing right field for my Mets dynasty because he makes 5 million a year. based on his game rating he would take a 1.5 million dollar contract, if he made less than 5 mil. Kelvarr
I am in Mid to Late June in my 2nd Owner Mode year. I just had Texas offer me Alfonso Soriano for Mark Teahen straight up. I am debating whether I want to take it or not. Offensively, Soriano has the edge. Defensively, Teahen has the edge with the stronger arm, and better fielding. Contract wise, Teahen is 2 yr/500k and Soriano is 2 yr/5.00M. Finally, Teahen is 24 and bats Left, Soriano is 30 and bats right. In both stadiums (Created Stadium and PNC Park), the dimensions favor Lefties, but I already have 6 Left-Handed Hitters in my Lineup, and actually could probably use a Righty. sfgiantsflgators
here's one that just went down in my dynasty: PHI sends Chase Utley to BAL for Javy Lopez. :chin:
Stus1171
I haven't had any weird trades but I've had some questionable things done as far players put on the trading block: Red Sox placed Curt Shilling on the block. Houston placed Roger Clemens on the block. I think the reasoning is that I included the legendary players in dynasty mode. This caused a buying frenzy by teams, who are then left with no money to resign players. Heck, I used a good chunk of money to sign Nolan Ryan, but I was able to get rid of some crappy middle relief pitchers.
northpaw
kinda weird.....i actually had the yanks send shawn chacon to pittsburg for craig wilson you never see the cpu sending a bunch of minor leaguers for a star Bonds (edited dowd) and jason schmidt to HOU for Clemens and brad ausmus
BountyHunter
I just received a trade yesterday in my FD seattle dynasty. Jermaine Dye for my Richie Sexson Sexson was doing just fine in my dynasty(better than Dye), but I ended up trading him and dumped his salary (I ony had 1.1M left b4 the trade), then I realized that my team was filled w/ outfielders, (Vladi, Ichiro, Dye, Jeremy Reed, Ibanez, Reed Johnson, Adam Stern(PRer)) and no 1B (backup IF: only Willie Bloomquist), so I had to do another trade, J. Reed for L. Overbay...Might think about trading for another backup IF or call up one...
Hayman19
Ben Broussard ALWAYS ends up on the trade block in my dynastys. Teixeira also is usually on the block. Ive tried to get him a few times but no success, and hes usually leading or close to leading the league in rbi's and hr's, weird.
Sean O
I think I may have a winner. I'm simming seasons with the rockies, and the twins just offered me Johan Santana for Todd Helton. Uh, yeah, I took that immediately. What a stupid move. I get the best pitcher in the game, an extra 7m in payroll flexibility, and they get a 31 year old first baseman. Sweet. Sweet. Try to grab their Justin Morneau too, and u get another great 1st baseman  Also, I found that Scott Shields appears on the trade block 99% of the time in my dynasties, except when he was in my team. and just adding on, I just saw Philip Hughes appear on my dynasty I traded for him right away. Also, Jered Weaver appears in Free Agents in 2 of my dynasties.
chaka193
I just got kerry wood for matt clement and david wells for ted lilly on my boston disnaty!!!!lol
cybernetic
That's because the CPU de-values relievers and puts them in the minors in favor of minor league starters in the bullpen so relievers with major league contracts get upset over that
hunteroo2
Somehow both David Ortiz and Texierra ended up on the Pirates, and Andrew Jones to Baltimore for Tejada..uhh...and I somehow managed to get Liriano in my Seattle dynasty, so I had Liriano/Felix as my 1-2 starters, that was kinda nice... pdub
I recently got a weird trade. San Diego had Trevor Hoffman on the block for about two months. He kept popping up in my Inbox. I had been having a bad year with Broxton who was going up and down between a 6-7 ERA as my setup man for Gagne. So I traded him for Hoffman(fair trades on). I played one game, and guess who's in my Inbox? San Diego looking to trade Broxton.

Also, Jered Weaver appears in Free Agents in 2 of my dynasties. Morneau is having a breakout year hitting wise, and since U.R. isn't adjusted for hitting until the end of the season, Morneau ends up very mediocre, hitting-wise, in the game. Relief pitchers are very undervalued, so you should usually be able to get a very good bullpen in the game.
