sw4747
That's a nice version, but not what I was looking for. The real Yankee stadium had the monuments IN THE FIELD OF PLAY along with the flagpole. The version above has the monuments on the wall. I was looking for a version where the ball could hit the monuments and players had to run around them.
NotreDame1
I second that however without the bullpens and current stuff like second fence in the stadium.. --you know what I mean classic home plate to the orignal fences no second fence!!! please Notre Dame1
sw4747
Guess it can't be done?
Sean O
EA, in its infinite wisdom, decided to make Yankee Stadium's walls all screwed up, so it would be extremely difficult to create an accurate old Yankee Stadium. Plus, part of the problem is that home plate itself has been moved around, which is one of the things you can't change in MVP. So it's possible, but would require a lot of annoying grunt work. I wouldn't count on it for a while.
sw4747
To bad. Would have been great. Amazing that the left Ebbits Field and the old Yankee stadium out of their historical stadiums, but chose to put a dump like the Astrodome in.
NotreDame1
Sean O, well are you going try it? just asking or is someone else going to try?
sw4747
Any other good historical stadiums being worked on?
Sean O
Sean O, well are you going try it? just asking or is someone else going to try? No, sorry, at least for a long time I'm not going to be able to work on it. If EA had made the place logically it'd be higher on my list, but with my drastically lessened free time, there's no way i'll be working on it in the forseeable future. NotreDame1
well Sean'O I hope you can sometime when you got the time because I think and alot of other people on this site think you are very good at what you do in your free time on this site!!! You got four examples (Stadiums) of your work that speak for itself. And I also hope you choose do Old Yankee Stadium Original dimensions at Yankee Stadium were 295 ft. (right), 490 ft. (center), and 281 ft. (left). Centerfield became known as "Death Valley" because of its distance from homeplate. Also do that Hungtington Grounds Ave park you mentioned or hinted able doing later
