Yankee4Life
Another day, another loss. This time to the boss. Mr Fuzz beats me 2-1. I pitched ok, but two clutch Dodger homers in the eighth inning gave fuzz the game. And in the ninth, I made sure he had the game. I lead off with a single, and by mistake (believe me I am fit to be tied right now) I hit the "advance runner" button. Well, not looking a gift horse in the mouth, fuzz tagged me out at second. Thus ending any and all hope of me making a ninth inning comeback. I got to go away now. This is depressing. EDIT: Hey goku, now I am 0-6! EDIT 2: Here's my avatar to be put on tomorrow:

Yankee4Life
who here plays online matches with the strike zone OR hot cold zones OR pitch indicator ON(not fade, not off, but on)?? Fuzz, when I play you I don't care if you have that strike zone on or off. Whatever you like. I just enjoy playing. Well, let me rephrase that. I just enjoy playing when I don't screw up in the game. Whatever way you like it is fine. If you want to play like the way we played in our last game, I have no objections.
carter
who here plays online matches with the strike zone OR hot cold zones OR pitch indicator ON(not fade, not off, but on)?? Man, that's how it is in the major leagues. I was watching the game last night and right before Carpenter pitched, the ump called time and then put a square hula hoop right in front of the plate. Then, to my amazement, some red and blue cardboard cutouts were folded down to show where Vernon Wells' hot and cold zones were. Wouldn't you know, Carpenter didn't throw anywhere where Wells could hit it. Wait, no, that's not real baseball and either is pitchers throwing 80% balls, but that's what you get when the strike zone and pitch indicator is turned on. It just ruins the game. Ball one, low and outside, ball two up and in... wait, no that's not what happens. In MVP you have about a 10th of one second to react so if a pitch is thrown about one balls width outside of the zone, coming out of the pitcher's hand it will appear to be a strike. So you will most likely swing. The problem here is that more often than not, the hitter won't be able to hit a pitch in that spot, or hit it with any authority. So, I say all games should be played with all three of the above options turned off. Now, I know some will say that you don't have to swing at those pitches, which is true, but who wants to sit around and take pitch after pitch. Playing MVP online is supposed to be fun, and "ballers" ruin that.

Yankee4Life
Y4L drops to 0 - 7, but sets milestone Facing a tough Florida Marlins team tonight by Cartersyard, the punchless New York Yankees lead by Yankee4Life, maybe the worst player to ever play Mvp 2005, lost another one, this time by the score of 3 to 1. Of course it was the Y4L fielding that did him in again. With the Marlins ahead 1 - 0, a comebacker was hit to the mound. Instead of throwing to first base to record the out, the ball was shockingly thrown to third base where Alex Rodriguez was minding his own business. A single and a double later, the Marlins had a 3-0 lead. And that, as the saying goes, was that. The Yankees did score a run in the ninth when Centerfielder Juan Pierre was caught signing autographs and did not pay attention to Gary Sheffield's RBI double. Having no concern, cartersyard retired the next two Yankees to end the game. With this loss, Yankee4Life has become the first person on this website to lose to players in four different countries. In the United States, there's fuzzone, Olyrunner and krawhitham, in Europe (Scotland) MarkbtheYankee, in the Dominican Republic we have Goku and from Canada tonight, cartersyard. Terrible, just terrible. EDIT: Not to self: here's the original avatar link. http://msn.foxsports.com/fe/img/MLB/Jellies/Large/10.gif
