Fastflink2009
After the Draft, who is going to add all the new players to the teams?
cybernetic
well typically the draft players start out in low A or R level so they wouldn't be in the game anyway
Fastflink2009
Well, i think they should be in the game.
MarkB
Evwn though they aren't actually in the teams present in the game? Not very realistic, is it?
Fastflink2009
Ya well, i still would want to have my teams newly drafted rookies available to play in my dynasty.
tigersfan05
^I know what you mean, but most draftees don't even end up signing.

bravesj858
some end up in higher levels of ball, but i would say the majority would not end up in the game until later on.
cybernetic
if u do that make a dynasty then u'll likely lose them as they'll get signed.. the computer goes sign happy with free agents in the dynasty when people go down with injuries or struggle
Fastflink2009
Still, it would be fun to have the option of all the new rookies

Yeah, correct me if I'm wrong, but Mark Prior went to ASU, then when he got drafted, he started in AA or AAA for like a season and then played for the Cubs. Upton,Gordon,Zimmerman,Braun, etc) in High A in the near future.... baratta- ya i seen they signed him like right away and beings that he's a scott boras client that was pretty amazing.... Lucas
The Jays drafted LHP Ricky Romero out of Cal. State Fullerton. The Jays GM J.P. Riccardi was quoted saying he has 3 MLB ready pitches (I havent figured out what they are yet). Now, Im not going to jump to conclusions, but the Jays almost always select a future All-Star (eg. Roy "Doc" Halladay, Vernon Wells, Shawn Green etc.) So I think Ricky will be in AA or AAA in no time, and that he has a ligit shot at making the Jays in the next 3 years. Wolverineman
The two relief pitchers picked in the first round, Joey Devine and Craig Hansen, are the most likely ones to make an impact at high minor leagues/majors this year. With the Braves bullpen woes, I'd really expect Devine to be up by the end of the season if he's ready.
